However, our physiotherapists view each headache as unique & apply a detailed assessment to determine what is causing your headache. Then our physiotherapists will aim to clearly demonstrate the cause of your headache by changing the quality of your head, face, eye or jaw pain at your initial treatment session.
At Wellers Hill and Woolloongabba Physiotherapy, several of our Physiotherapists possess skills in acupuncture and dry needling (DN). These skills have been achieved through further study in courses approved by the Australian Physiotherapy Association. They regularly attend refresher courses to keep their techniques updated.
The Temporo-Mandibular Joint (TMJ) or jaw is a complex mechanical joint system which allows us to chew, speak, yawn and perform many other daily functions. Most people don't realise that the jaw is intimately related with the neck, inner ear, teeth and base of the skull and works with these other structures to create normal movement patterns.
If you are suffering from an aching back or neck, rest assured you are not alone! Most of us will suffer from this at some stage in our lives. Our Physiotherapists are highly experienced in the assessment, diagnosis and advanced treatment of back and neck pain. Did your pain start when you were bending or twisting, or has it just built up gradually while you've been busy at work or study?

The reception and physio staff were friendly enough but I was disappointed with the service. A lot of money for barely any contact time, most of it spent laying down with a moist heat pack on - something I could do at home easily. The physio was also going between me and another client (on more than one visit) so my appointment was not focused on me as an individual. It seemed it was more of a convenience for the physio to do.

I have been receiving treatment from Kath and her team at Wellers Hill Physiotherapy for over a year and have found them to be excellent. Kath is really positive to work with, has loads of ideas about how to tailor treatment to your particular lifestyle needs (eg I struggle to get to a gym regularly so we have devised a bunch of exercises I can do at home) and is also great at responding to quick questions via email or phone rather than having to wait for the next session. The support staff are very helpful and friendly and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone looking

I have been seen by Kath now a number of times for multiple injuries and concerns over the years. Excellent service and broad knowledge of the field - she helped me to get walking and running again after severe sciatica and leg troubles. On another occasion she has eased back pain and other gym injuries with physio & massage work, as well as acupuncture; which I found very effective much to my surprise!
Very personal service. Impressed.

I too can't speak highly enough of Kathy's skills as a physio (and I've been to several over the years!) Always on time, responsive and able to rectify neck and shoulder issues a lot quicker than I've ever experienced. Plus she's such a character, which makes the entire experience a lot less painful! It's so convenient in terms of parking and location and all staff are lovely and helpful.

I cannot speak highly enough of Kathy, Dean and the extended team, at Wellers Hill Physio.
The care, experience, and education that I have received in managing a significant injury, has made my recovery easy.
Further, my orthopaedic surgeon was impressed with the pre-hab that I had undertaken, prior to surgery. He commented that the team had worked well with me, to ensure a swift recovery, and easier rehab period, after surgery.
Having undergone a few other obstacles in the last few months, the compassion and care I have experienced has been appreciated. I feel equipped to manage my ongoing

I was born with Cerebral Palsy and have been a weekly patient of Wellers Hill Physiotherapy for the last ten years. I have had dealings with many physiotherapists over the years but Kath is by far the best. It is because of her efforts that I am still mobile and not totally confined to my wheelchair. At my first consultation I could barely walk because of the amount of muscle spasms in my legs and my pain level was 24/7. With Kath's help the spasms are controllable and the pain is markedly decreased. I was hesitant to go to any Physio because of a bad experience that was continual over a couple

Kathy leads a busy physio clinic. She pays close attention to her own well being and maintains a healthy lifestyle. We are a local supporting business, supported by Kathy and frequently approaching Kathy for her advice to help us better our health and well being practices. An incredibly experienced, knowledgable and caring person. This would no doubt reflect on the way her and her team work together at Wellers Hills Physio to deliver exemplary services.

Where to begin. The physios cars were parked in the only two designated customers spots, meant I had to park around the corner and up a hill. This has its logistical difficulties when you have crippling lower back pain...anyway I made it into the clinic eventually. When I started to explain my symptoms, the physio brushed me off, said 85% of carpenters have the same problem. Ok, I'd believe that. "My condition is slightly different to what I have experienced before" I was saying before being interrupted by the physio who said "your just getting old". Well I'm only 33 but that doesn't sound like

I was recently referred to Wellers Hill Physiotherapy by a friend of mine because of ongoing neck pain. I found the staff extremely friendly and professional. When I arrived I was attended to promptly by a very efficient receptionist. My physio explained everything to me in a way I could easily understand. The ongoing treatment program that we have put in place has seen great results and improvement in my neck! I am so happy I found this practice and couldn't recommended it highly enough!

Unprofessional and disorganised service - I arrived at a mid afternoon appointment only to find the office closed and had to wait outside in the rain on crutches because the receptionist and physio had apparently been informed by the previous day's receptionist that my appointment was half an hour later, despite the fact that I had an appointment card and text message clearly outlining that I had arrived at the correct time. I then attempted to make another appointment and was offered an available time, only to be subsequently advised that it needed to be moved forward by an hour because the physio
