Had a booking with Campervan finder and had to cancel as COVID 19 resulted in Australia closing all its boarders. When I tried to cancel the booking with the i was told Campervan village (the rental company the promote) was not offering any refunds. After contacting fair trade for assistance the agent offered a partial refund but kept over $500!
The reason given by the agent…….
'Because I pushed for the refund they are charging us a hefty cancellation fee and only giving us a little bit back. The remaining money + credit we have to cop on the chin and pay out of our pocket to you :(

Renting a campervan with Campervan Finder was easy. We took the stress free option so we didn't have to leave a bond and worry about insurance. We also took the express pack which was more convenient as we didn't have to return the vehicle with fuel in the tank.
