Edward Scissorhands in Saint Kilda is awesome...a beautiful space with a relaxed light filled atmosphere.
Mel is absolutely brilliant, welcoming and humble. After years trying to find a good hairdresser and a long COVID lockdown, it was great to return here to see Mel's welcoming smile and have a perfect haircut... a mixture between "sporty and professional".

I had not been to Edward Scissorhands before, but was recommended to go by several friends, and I was not disappointed! I was looked after by Elena who was fabulous, incredibly professional, knowledgeable and was able to help me try a new hair cut style, providing expert knowledge both on the cut itself and on it’s styling and maintenance! I felt very well looked after, covid-safe and listened to - and I’ve left with a schlick haircut feeling fresh and confident! Thanks again Elena!

Had a great time here it was an experience for sure. My 1st hair cut in Melbourne. Mel was great and very nice and friendly. Great chop and beard tidy up. Would definitely recommend. Nice bar around our the door 50m to the right up the stairs for a cheeky one after.

I have been visiting Edward Scissorhands in St Kilda since its opening many many years ago! Highly skilled creative professionals here that always adding a special touch...The shop is always bright, meticulously clean, beautifully furnished. The staff is friendly, always acknowledging your arrival and departure, exchanging a few words. Great team of barbers coming from a variety of different backgrounds. I have also visited the other shop in South Melbourne! Skilled friendly staff! Thank you Edward, much appreciated your work.

I've never liked getting my haircut since I was a kid, and am notoriously bad at explaining what I want.
I went here earlier this year and was very impressed with the haircut (although I forgot what the lady's name was) and so came back today.
I had Dilan, who was really lovely and thorough. When I got home I noticed a couple things I wasn't too happy with (again, my own poor communication skills), and came back for some touch ups.
Dilan did a fantastic job fixing things up for me, and thanked me for not leaving a bad review, so instead I'm leaving this one.

My go-to hairstylist for over 3/4 years now.
All the staff there are amazing, but I personally trust and tend to wait for Elena, my usual hairdresser to cut my hair. I do occassionally try other hairstylists when Elena is not there. Special mentions go to Jag, who really knows his stuff and has amazing skill to show for it, and another guy who used to always wear a suit /vest whilst cutting my hair (but I haven't seen him in a while).
Also, just thought I'd add that Edwards wife runs a little store next door and she helped me out with a battery swap on a bunch of my watches. So overall just a
