We hired a cougar 1000 skid steer loader from Ausquip machinery group for a two day hire. Firstly the price was good for the size of the machine. As explained by Bruce, it is much larger than the baby skid steers at other hire places. We had almost ¼ of an acre to flatten with a drop from one end to another of almost 3 meters. This equates to a lot of dirt to move in two days. We found the skid steer far more powerful than most of the machines and the bucket could hold far more dirt than the norm. We definitely had a huge task ahead of us but this machine allowed us to achieve what would have
