Carrier oils, also known as base oils, are used to dilute essential oils before being applied to the skin and are so named because they 'carry' the essential oil into the skin. They do not interfere with the essential oils' properties once diluted. As you may know, our skin does not respond well with concentrated essential oils alone.

Thanks to the numerous benefits and pleasant fragrances, these natural oils have various applications. They are acknowledged in aromatherapy, skin care, diffusers, in the bath and garden. They can also be incorporated in a massage blend, added in soap and candle making, and used as household cleaners.

Unlike essential oils, fragrant oils are formulated in laboratories. They are produced into a specific composition. This composition comprises several aroma elements such as resins, extracts, and essential oils, among others. For this reason, more scent options are made available to customers.

Essential oils, on the other hand, have been extracted from natural botanical sources, usually steam-distilled from different parts of a plant such as leaves, bark, stem, wood or resin, to create concentrated oils that have many beneficial properties.For the reason that fragrant oils are not natural, they are usually less expensive than essential oils and are easily more obtainable as they can be chemically engineered.

Pure and Organic have different meanings. Organic means that the oil has been extracted from plants that have been farmed and grown without the use of pesticides, chemicals or synthetic fertilizers. And at every step of the production process, the oil hasn't been exposed to non-organic materials or processes.
