Blue River Apartments are a boutique block of 4 holiday apartments located at the ocean end of Wooli, on the north coast of NSW. This unique location is characterised by a peninsula, at the southern end of Wooli, which is wedged between the Pacific Ocean and Wooli Wooli River. In fact, Wooli Wooli means two waters.
Our waterfront holiday apartments take advantage of this uniqueness, resting at the narrowest point of the peninsula and so the beach or river is only steps away. Each holiday apartment enjoys the sound of the breaking waves and cooling ocean breezes but remain protected when stronger winds hit the coastline.

For 10 years, we along with our extended family, have holidayed in Wooli. We love Wooli for the peaceful vibe that Wooli exudes, along with the slower pace of life that permeates this small coastal community. There is always something happening in Wooli but not like the city. Here it is nature that dictates the action.
Admiral's Deck: With stunning views and spacious outdoor living areas, Admiral's Deck offers privacy and tranquillity overlooking Wooli River. Captain's Bridge is a top floor apartment with delightful river views and ocean breezes. High, vaulted ceilings and cool, coastal decor makes this a comfortable holiday destination.
A kayak is the perfect way to explore the unspoilt marine environment of Wooli Wooli River. Blue River Apartments has two fabulous 2 person kayaks, with fishing rod holders, available for FREE use to our guests. Your Wooli Wooli River Kayak experience starts directly in front of Blue River Apartments and offers you some 30 kilometres of pristine national park waterways to explore.
Wooli is a flat town making it an easy holiday location to cycle around. A favourite route is out of town to the seawall. This route takes you through the nature reserve on the bike path most of the way. Alternatively there are rides out to Minnie Waters, Pillar Valley or along the bush tracks. If you prefer to bring your own bikes, each apartment has space to stow them securely when not in use.
Dining options may be few in Wooli but they are all good and you have the option of dining in or taking food back to your Blue River Apartment. The new Wooli cafe is located @ 200 metres south along main street from the apartments and open from 7 am. The Oyster Shop situated on the riverbank, sells fresh oysters new on an intermitent schedule - availability being the main criteria.

We stayed in the Quarterdeck for a week early August. It was the perfect location for a really relaxing week. Everything you need is available from kitchen implements to bikes and kayaks for guest use. There was even clothes washing powder in the laundry. We had two small dogs with us and it was great for them to have inside and outside access. We loved both the apartment and the location (about 50m from the cafe!) and would highly recommend Blue River Apartments.

Someone attempted to break into the property on the night we were staying there. Fortunately for us we heard them and they fled from the apartment. We left early the next day cutting our stay a night short. The owner of the apartment refused to reimburse us for the extra night we paid for but didn't stay there as they did not believe us. I would not risk staying there.

My family booked out the 4 units this weekend just gone, it was the perfect place for us all to have our own space, but be together as well. Unfortunately it rained a lot (300+ mls in one day) and we were flooded in for an extra night. Rod and Cathy were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout this.
The apartments them selves are amazing, with everything you could possibly want whilst on holidays.
We will definitely be back and will be recommending these apartments to anyone who will listen.

A beautiful apartment with beach vibes and everything you could need. Wooli is cute beach town and the hospitality of the locals and the owners of blue river apartments (Kathy and Rod) made us and the pups feel right at home. The perfect place for us to get engaged. we will definitely be back.

My husband and I have stayed at the apartments on several occasions. Recent refurbishments provide excellent, tasteful decor to complement the lovely location in Wooli, with both the ocean and the river at your doorstep. It's not only a great couples retreat but also a wonderful environment for family holidays. The owners take great pride in their establishment and provide their guests with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay, all year round.

This is our second stay here, and I can say without a doubt that we will be coming back for a third, sometime in the near future. My wife, Briony and I like to take a break from the routine of every day life to recharge and come home relaxed. I recommend to anyone who is after a break, to come to the Wooli serviced apartments, you won't regret it.
