Araluen Park Cottages has been established on part of a rural property previously used for the grazing of cattle. The concept of more sustainable land use and restoration of native habitat led to the development of four individual environmentally friendly cottages in a natural setting with a long-term plan for native vegetation restoration of the remnant vegetation surrounding the cottages.
Whilst having a focus on sustainability, the fully self-contained cottages do not compromise on lifestyle, ensuring the normal comforts afforded to country style accommodation. Each cottage is built to a period style, incorporating individuality and privacy. The off-grid solar power does not support air-conditioning, however real wood-fired heaters are cosy in the cooler months and ceiling and portable fans cool in the warmer months.

Such a stunning & amazing place to stay!
A step back in time, the Boobialla Cottage was oozing in charm, character & coziness.💜 Immersed in the healing energies of nature & wildlife at your doorstep was a true gift, especially being able to hand feed the local king parrots & cheeky alpaca's. Wish I could have adopted them!! 😁👍 Was sad to leave

Unfortunately we never got to stay here as we had to cancel because of the fires. But all my dealings with Peter and Marie-Anne they seem to be so nice and accommodating. I wish you both the very best and pray for safely at this time. Hopefully in the future we will be able go cone stay.

What a great hidden gem! I had never been to this part of Victoria and we spent a wonderful 3 day weekend here. The cabins are spaced apart enough to provide privacy but close enough to not feel isolated. The Alpacas provided entertainment and a wake up one morning! The cottages are decorated with country charm and the fireplace is the best feature. There is no heat or air conditioning but the fire is enough to beat the cold and it wasn't too hot for us. The beds are comfortable, we were in the 2 bedroom cottage. The breakfast provided is fresh eggs, bacon and milk. The kitchen is perfectly stocked
