Boondall Dental is a long-established dental practice located in the iconic Sue's Korner shopping centre on the corner of Sandgate Road and Beams Road in Boondall, on Brisbane's northside. Founded by Dr John Walters in the late 1950s, it was the first dental practice to service the Boondall area. Subsequently the dental practice was operated by Dr Ivan Walsh for over 30 years.
In more recent times Dr Jimmy Dong has acquired the practice and is now the primary dentist. Our family practice is proud of its history and continues to serve the local community. Big thank you to the team at Boondall Dental. I had a very serious cracked tooth that required a crown. In the three visits I had for the preparation, temporary filling, and final crown fitting, I was treated with care, very professional dental procedures and respect from all of the team. The cost of the procedure was very competitive and I would recommend Boondall Dental to any one who requires dental procedures in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane.

I live in Logan now but still make the trip back to the Northside every 6 mths to see Dr Dong.
A year or so ago, I was experiencing a mysterious pain in one of my teeth - within 10 minutes, he'd figured out what my problem was and I now have a shiny gold crown, which has never ever played up.
I would recommend anyone to Boondall Dental - I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

I am petrified of the needle let alone going to the dentist. From the moment you step through the doors you are greeted as they you have been part of the boondall dental family. The service from Front reception , to Chris, and Phil has been the most amazing experience, - I was informed from another denture company that they could not repair my bottome denture, but wow Boondall Dental good repair it so that I could still smile and go to work, until they made my new pair of dentures - I have not had these replace for over 10 years , cost wise well where do I start - from $4000.00 quoted by the denture

Both my wife and I had been seeing a dentist in Redcliffe for many years, but sadly he has retired, and a friend of ours recommended Boondall Dental.
Our experience has been excellent, Jimmy and his staff are fantastic, going to the dentist now has become a pleasant experience. We are both 67 years old so over the years we have seen many dentists, and Jimmy is the best dentist we have ever had.

I’ve recently had several fillings and an extraction at Boondall Dental. I felt welcomed and at ease from the first consultation. Jimmy explained every step of the process throughout each appointment. His gentle and caring manner has given me a new confidence, previously obliterated by prior poor dental work spanning 4 decades. The treatments were painless and I’m super happy with the quality of the work completed. My dental work costs were really affordable compared to those paid by friends who went elsewhere. Dr Jimmy is very gentle and caring and works for high quality outcomes in consultation with his patients. I recommended Ivan to people who needed a dentist, and I have no hesitation in now recommending Dr Jimmy. Dental nurse staff are also very caring. Everyone is happy with a sense of humour and they all make you feel at ease. And Leanne is still there to welcome you with her loving smile.
