Richard Staniland has been honoured for his services to aged care and to the community of the Ku-ring-gai area, including his role with KOPWA (Ku-Ring-Gai Old Peoples' Welfare Association) as the association's honorary solicitor.

Be careful from the moment you step into their offices. Ask them if they would charge you for talking to you. We had a situation and I asked one of their lawyers, a gentleman named Craig, if I could legally claim something from the previous owners of the house I bought. He practically said no. But then I ended up paying $550. They never told me they would charge me just to answer if they can work for me. Well, I guess they are desperate. So, that’s my donation to them.
