Petar holds a Bachelor of Communications, a Master of Urban and Regional Planning and a Diploma of Project Management. He has over a decade's experience in various statutory, strategic and senior management town planning positions within Local Governments. He has served as the Manager of Planning at City of Subiaco, Town of Cambridge and Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.

I was told about these guys by a local (Mt Lawley) real estate agent who had been through one planning nightmare after another before engaging Petar and his team at Urbanista and singing their praises.
It was my first time engaging a planning consultant so I was a bit nervous about the process and apprehensive about value, but I saw the work they put in to my DA and it was 100% professional - much more than I could've ever put together.
Their reputation did not let them down. It is a relief to know you have the best help on your side when there are important things at stake.

Urbanista provided expert advice and assistance at very short notice that enabled our local community to provide information to our Towns' Development Committee. Subsequently the State Administrative Tribunal refused the application. Petars knowledge and expertise were critical to the results that were achieved.

Petar Mrdja is one of three owners of Urbanista Town Planning. The following review is about our experience in dealing with Petar Mrdja. It is irrelevant to us where the work took place. Professionalism and work ethic is the individuals responsibility.
Petar Mrdja was contracted to work for the Town of Cambridge recently. My partner and I lodged a development application with the town. Our DA was unfortunately assigned to him. Over a period of nearly 3 months it didn't progress. He hardly ever responded to emails or calls from us or our Architect. He never met a deadline and never explained why
