Moonee Beach Veterinary Surgery was established by Dr. Robert Mills in 2005 as a sole veterinary practitioner. Over the years, our clinic has grown to include a wide range of veterinary services in both small and large animal care. Our clinic is the first vet practice to open in Moonee Beach, with our surgery located inside the original commercial complex right next to the Moonee Beach Tavern.
Moonee Beach Veterinary Surgery knows that keeping your pet healthy is an essential part of pet ownership. Every stage of your pet's life is different and we will guide you throughout their lifetime, providing advice on diet, training (puppy school) and behavioural issues, preventative health care such as vaccinations and parasite control, desexing, microchips, grooming, emergencies, illness and aged care.
Our team of veterinarians & nurses are here to provide your pets with high quality veterinary care in every stage of their life. Our clinical pathology services include laboratory evaluations of your pet's body tissue and bodily fluids such as blood and urine for disease identification. We have an inhouse laboratory that is equipped with the right kind of technology to make sure that all diagnostics are rapid and accurate.
Moonee Beach Veterinary Surgery knows the importance of taking good care of your pet's oral health. Our vets and vet nurses are here to make sure that your pet's teeth and gums are always taken care of. Our vets can also assess if your pet has jaw, bite or teething disorders which will become apparent as they grow older.

We’re new to the area and introduced our dog and cat to Rob and the team. Everyone is so friendly and professional, Rob is very thorough. After a couple of false starts, unfortunately the cat needed to be put down recently. The team was flexible when we needed it and were so caring. A week later - a sympathy card arrived as well. Fabulous team.

We always have a pleasant experience when visiting. The staff have always been so caring, understanding and helpful. I am always confident and comfortable leaving our little one in their capable hands. They all go above and beyond to help, and follow up with a check in to see how our pets are doing after needing attention. Receiving appointment/vaccination reminders via text has also been a great help. I highly recommend their service!

Our 5 month-old Staffy suddenly fell ill on the day we were leaving to return to Sydney. Lisa promptly fitted us in with Erin and the service was exceptional. They were very thorough and knowlegeable and promptly put our minds at ease. Excellent with people as well as pets. Can't recommend them enough. Thank you!
