Services
Over the last 15+ years, the team at Decorative Concrete WA have perfected the science of concreting. We're now regarded as Perth's premier concreting company for driveways, pool surrounds, walkways, floors, carports, alfresco areas and more. Polished Concrete (popular for the interior of homes and businesses, such as showroom floors).
Looking for the best exposed aggregate, liquid limestone and decorative concrete in Perth? The most popular type of decorative concrete is exposed aggregate (particularly for driveways). While many types of concrete are mixed with aggregates to add to the durability of the mixture, the distinct beauty seen in exposed aggregate surfaces comes from the specific manner of laying the concrete.
The most popular decorative concrete is exposed aggregate concrete. While many types of concrete are mixed with aggregates to add to the durability of the mixture, the distinct beauty seen in exposed aggregate surfaces comes from the specific manner of laying the concrete. To achieve the lovely and unique look of exposed aggregate, we use a high end product to remove the top layer of concrete to reveal the mixed-in aggregate.
The only difference is the honed mix has to be at a higher strength to be ground down. Since the materials are the same, you will have the same huge variety of aggregate mixes that you would with exposed/washed aggregate. The detail that sets honed aggregate apart from exposed aggregate is the fact that honed aggregate is mechanically ground down, giving the material a much smoother finish than exposed aggregate.
Although both types of decorative concrete begin as exposed aggregate, there are a few differences between exposed polished aggregate and honed aggregate. The finish of honed aggregate is a smooth finish, similar to a paver once it has had a slip resistant sealer applied. Once all the stone is revealed and our team has done the finer honing cuts, it's time to start polishing.

The team from DCWA were really professional from the get go. Really impressed by the expertise and knowledge of the owner Richard and he made the whole process seem so easy during the stressful time of building.
Will definitely be recommending the team from DCWA to all family & friends going forward who are looking to build or upgrade their home.
Thanks again to Rich and the team for their outstanding work

We recently used the team for 115m2 of concrete on a project and honestly I cannot fault them! We've been building and renovating homes in Perth for over 8 years and have had dealings with many trades. Would give 6 stars if I could!
