At Melbourne Hand Rehab, treating hands is our passion and we love what we do. Our team of qualified hand therapists have been taking care of Melbourne's hands for over 25 years, and during that time we've helped thousands of people get back to doing what they love after a hand injury or condition.
I'm very pleased with the results I have been able to achieve with the help of Melbourne Hand Rehab. A custom splint was made and I gradually progressed through a tailored exercise program. Jess is a fantastic clinician, is personable and presents all information in an easy to understand way. Since seeing Melissa for about 6 weeks, I have seen huge improvements.
The team at Melbourne Hand Rehab are qualified physiotherapists and occupational therapists who have undertaken special training in treating the hand, elbow and wrist. We have 12 clinics in convenient locations. Telehealth consultations are now available with all of our therapists and through all of our clinic locations.
Hand therapy is an area of advanced practice for physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Practitioners of hand therapy have additional training which gives them a special understanding of the complex functioning of the wrist and hand. At Melbourne Hand Rehab, we are leaders in the field of hand therapy.

Many thanks to Melbourne Hand Rehab. I really wanted to thank your team for a wonderful result and experience! Crystal and Ed in particular were supportive, knowledgeable and encouraging when I was worried about my progress and my ability to get back to the sport I love (rowing). Such a great outcome and care. I am now back to rowing both sweep and scull...something I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to do again after having bones removed from my wrist (Proximal Row Carpectomy). Many, many thanks!!!

As a physiotherapist working for 30 years, I've seen too many cases of people who have underestimated the long-term consequences of not appropriately managing their wrist, hand and finger injuries. At Mill Park Physiotherapy, we refer to Melbourne Hand Rehab principally because of their high level of expertise in this niche area of therapy. Their staff have to undergo a high level of specific training to be able to see patients under the Melbourne Hand banner. They know what they're doing

I've been seeing Nichola at the Essendon clinic since late March, and she is fantastic. I've had a dodgy wrist since 2014, when my ganglion recurred, and then burst, leading to tendonitis and pain that was exacerbated by yoga, riding my bicycle, cooking, writing, typing, sewing, playing the piano, and, if my wrist was feeling particularly… aggravated, reading. I'd really given up hope of it ever getting better, and it was having a huge impact on my quality of life.
What I like about working with Nichola is that not only does she clearly know her stuff when it comes to wrists and tendons

After my 86 year old mothers hand became very contorted and painful we could not find any relief for her till she saw Angela who splinted her hand. I would like to say Angela is amazing with Barbara. Barbara has trouble communicating at times with getting out correct words, however she fully understands and Angela gives her respect directs… questions to Barbara and waits for her response. Barbara's hand is now splinted she is able to open her hand and have her nails painted again. (Which she loves ) Exercises set by Angela have helped and although she still has pain it is no way near what

Awesome place where your situation gets looked after with the outmost care. I'm still in treatment but only because my OT believes I can get better, and I have to thank Crystal Goodwin for that, otherwise it would have been a different story for my right hand at this point. Thanks Melbourne Hand Rehab

I now see the Physios from Melbourne Hand at their new suites on Commercial Rd. It's just across the road from The Alfred Hospital, very close to St Kilda Rd. I can actually walk there, or jump on a tram if I'm feeling lazy. I don't know what I'd do without regular hand therapy!
