We have a committed team of artists and architects across Melbourne and regional Victoria, and we are passionate about what we do. We want to contribute our skills to the real world starting with local, everyday people. Our team comes from different backgrounds and our recruitment process emphasises both soft and hard skills - diverse talents and complementary personalities.
We pay at or above published award rates, invest in training and professional development, and have a flexible and compassionate workplace policy. We care about gender equity and diversity, and believe these values benefit our clients. Ammon is a passionate and driven architect, researcher, writer and teacher.

Services
We are a registered architectural practice in Melbourne, Ballarat, Horsham and Macedon Ranges. We create sustainable architecture through participatory design and placemaking, events and research. We are affordable architects with a social conscience. Our team of professionals care about project delivery.
Our residential architects know that a well designed home brings huge benefits to people's lives, and therefore believe that architecture should be available to everyone. In many of our residential projects we work with clients who wouldn't typically use an architect, bringing not only architectural design, but an understanding of costs, regulations, authority requirements and project planning.
Here Studio work with local councils, State organisations and community groups, on a range of community projects, including schools, public buildings, community engagement, masterplanning, and reporting. We successfully integrate public architecture, urban design, and stakeholder engagement, and emphasise developing a process together as a way to strengthen connections around a project.
It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of conversation ("chit chat"), it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds.
Climate Change is real and the built environment has a very important impact (and role to play). Here Studio's raison d'tre is to deliver Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) and Regenerative Design in architecture in a meaningful, affordable and accessible way.
It's not just an ethical perspective, we know through experience that this approach creates better spaces for living in, lower running costs, richer relationships with nature and more connected families and communities. Those living in sustainable homes are more resilient to dramatic change, with access to home-grown produce, fresh air and light, the occupants fare better in both mental and physical health.
