The South Blend is structured around a classic Indian coffee and delivers outstanding smoothness and length with lingering malty chocolate flavour in the finish.

Food Report

At The Basement Cafe, our focus is doing well at what we do. All of our produce is sourced from local suppliers and delivered fresh daily. From our Noisette breads, Croissants and Peanut Butter French Toast that comes straight from the bakery oven to our doorstep daily, to our fruit and vegetables delivered in the wee hours of the morning.

6/11/21 - we stumbled across this wonderful Basement Cafe gem by accident. What a treat! The staff could not be nicer, the food was scrumptious! Really affordable and generous size meals. The staff advised alternatives when mentioning foods I couldn't eat. Can't wait to return:).

Had a chicken burger takeaway, came with fries and two hashbrowns. The burger was really tasty with generous filling. It wasn't the sort of fried chicken burger that I was expecting, but it was still delicious. Fries were seasoned well. Staff was friendly and the service was good. 5 stars because I really can't think of a single thing wrong with it.

Good place for breakfast or lunch. They close around 4 pm. Had the burger which came with fries and hash browns accompanied by tomato sauce and mayonnaise. Friendly service. I always appreciate it when asked “how was your meal?” The answer was very good. Plan to come again.

Love the food! Ordered their specials tocina and taho. And hubby ordered chili sausage.Definitely cannot fault it! Apart from the yummy taste, food was well presented. A big plus for us was staffs were very accommodating! Even helped us out with bub in the pram. Would definitely be coming back.

A great place to go..open early..i was there before 7am..great coffee...great food..good variety...not at all expensive..much better than an hotel breakfast for me!! Friendly and welcoming staff...!
