Used forklift batteries can be excellent value because it is a legal requirement for these batteries to be suitably reconditioned for their roles.
With correct Battery charging practice and maintenance schedules in place, the average expectancy of an Electric Forklift Battery is around 6-8years with 200-250 charge and discharge cycles per year dependent on use. Sulphate crystals gradually build up on the lead plates within each cell, negatively affecting the life and run times associated with the battery.
CEIL supplied batteries come with a guarantee against faulty workmanship and defective material from the date of purchase for a full period of 1500 cycles of charge and discharge or a maximum period of 5 years (36 Months full Warranty, 24 months pro rata) - whichever is earlier. The warranty applies to a maximum of 80% depth of discharge of the cells rated capacity at C5.

After having difficulty with my forklift battery I contacted Ceil for a quote, their response was immediate and after a couple of phone calls the techs were sent to assess the battery, the charge for this was waived if I went ahead with purchasing a new one. This I did and they promptly built a new battery along with a new tray as my old one was corroded . The battery fitted perfectly. Overall it was a good experience dealing with Ceil, I can recommend them for your forklift battery problems.
