We pride ourselves on providing caring and client centred services and strive to support people and families to be active participants in their rehabilitation. O.T.WEST provided Occupational Therapy services to St John of God Hospital Subiaco for over 20 years.
O.T.WEST Therapists specialise in neurological assessment and rehabilitation, based on neuroplasticity principles and cognitive rehabilitation therapy. We use the latest evidence based assessment and treatment techniques. Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy programs to improve thinking skills impacting on day to day functioning, including planning and organising, problem solving, attention, recall, and decision making.
O.T.WEST provides home based rehabilitation, environmental assessments and modifications to help keep people safe and as independent as possible in their home. Our Therapists will visit clients in their home. If the client is in hospital, a home assessment can be done prior to discharge. O.T.WEST provides the home visiting service for SJOG Hospital Subiaco and sees patients from Hollywood Private Hospital.

Assessing the person's cognitive state and capacity to manage daily activities, using contemporary assessment methods;. Providing advice on self-management, wellbeing, environment and care services if required;.
Comfort, good spinal support and skin care are important for people who sit for long periods of time. O.T.WEST specialises in finding seating solutions to ensure comfort, improve function and prevent complications that result from poor posture. Our Occupational Therapists will provide a comprehensive assessment and equipment prescription to prevent and manage pressure ulcers.
