Fiona graduated from the University of Sydney in 1987. In 1992, she was admitted as Fellow of the Royal Australasion College of Dental Surgeons in General Practice. She commenced her career in public service at Westmead Hospital before commencing full time service in Army Reserve in NT. After a year in country practice, she returned to Sydney.
The Family Dental Practice provides crown, bridge and implant work that focuses on function and high aesthetics. We only use Australian based local technicians and ceramists to ensure that all our restorations meet safety standards set out by Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration.

The Family Dental Practice specialises in highly aesthetic porcelain crowns that can appear almost identical to natural teeth. Dr Fiona and the team are brilliant! I have been attending the practice for many years but recently tried the Smartbleach teeth whitening. I've not had my teeth whitened before, and Dr Fiona spent lots of time explaining the process. The results are outstanding - my teeth were extremely white after the treatment and have stayed white since. The technology at the practice is very impressive, and I felt very well looked after. The team is highly trained and explains what you need to do after the treatment to ensure your teeth stay nice and bright. If anyone considers getting their teeth whitened

Hey! Not a fan of going to the dentist.... my family didn't take me. I was a bit scared to be honest but I got recommended Dr Fiona by a coworker - so I went. Very clean and professional. I also had a Whitening with this new technology SMART BLEACH! that's it and honest to god NO PAIN! I couldn't believe it. So Dr Fiona has my confidence (and 5 stars!)

I've recently attended the Family Dental Practice for a clean and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience!
The surgery itself is beautifully kept, clean and neat. The receptionist and nurses are very friendly and comforting and Dr. Fiona was very efficient in her cleaning and gave me great tips to help with my oral health, she took her time to explain everything she was doing and how i should improve my brushing and flossing techniques.
Overall a really good practice! I've been going to dentists my whole life and I was still able to learn things that I was never told before!

A fantastic dental practice! All the staff are lovely and caring. Fiona is exceptionally good with people that are afraid of dental work (like me!). I'm thrilled that I found them, I'm finally sorting out years of dental neglect because I'm so comfortable there. Also, the office is so clean and welcoming, it's a pleasure to have an appointment.

The Family Dental Practice is the best dentist I have ever been to. Friendly staff work there and Dr Fiona Gallagher always consults with me exactly what procedures I’m about to have done. She always makes me feel very comfortable. The surgery is always clean and spotless and I know that I am in the best possible hands. Even though I have moved out of the area I will continue to go back there as they are a fantastic dental practice.

I've been visiting Dr Fiona for the past 8 years and developed a great rapport with her. Fiona is highly professional, personable, gentle and loves a chat! The clinic is fresh, vibrant and sparkling clean! Her team always make me feel welcome and comfortable.

Fiona is always very thorough. She communicates clearly so that you are aware of issues, their causes and solutions. Fiona clearly stays on top of the latest dental research and treatments. The practice is spotlessly clean and the technology is updated regularly so I am always confident best practice is occurring. I have been seeing Fiona as my dentist for more than 25 years and she also cares for my children’s dental health. We travel over 40 minutes to see Fiona in preference to moving to a local dentist. I would recommend Fiona without hesitation.

I have always feared the dentists. But ever since i started going to the Family Dental Practice in Brighton Le Sands, I am more relaxed and at ease.
Dr Fiona Gallagher is very thorough with her explanations of what procedures she is using on the day. Clinic is very clean and hygiene is of high standards. Staff are friendly and quick to making you feel comfortable. Highly recommended for children through to adults.
