Thank you to d'italia for helping me with making my wedding dress dreams come true. I tried to find the dress I had in my mind in stores but I couldn't, especially with my height and size. It was very hard. Alyssa was so supportive and encouraging. She helped with every question, worry and idea. I had the most incredible experience with the team at ditalia. I had tried on a number of dresses and couldn't find what I wanted in store at a reasonable cost, enter ditalia! I came in the last weekend before lockdown 1 with my crazy vision and Alyssa was so kind and helpful in helping me achieve me vision. I had so much fun choosing the fabrics and playing designer. After many lockdowns and a postponed wedding I could finally work on my dress with Eva who was incredible! She helped me work on the dress without telling me what I should do, she made sure my opinions were heard and implemented.

They knew exactly what kind of fabric was required to make my dress elegant and stunning, and worked within my budgets. I just wanted to say that I had such a wonderful experience with D’Italia. The whole process was exceptional. I found it quite overwhelming when searching for a wedding dress in stores and just couldn’t find what I was after and in the price range I was willing to spend. I finally stumbled across D’Italia online and booked in an appointment that same day. I left that appointment with my dress all sorted. I felt so relieved, content and happy with the whole process. D’italia made my dream dress a reality! Through multiple lockdowns & so many unknowns nothing was ever too much- even a late fabric change! My dressmaker Vicky was unbelievable - I will forever be grateful for her talent, kindness & hard work. I am so sad it’s all over and I will never get to wear my dress again however, I have never felt more beautiful or comfortable in a dress before - all thanks to D’Italia & team!

I had gone into several different shops trying on many many wedding dresses, however, with each dress there was something about them I was not 100% happy with. My very last stop for the day was D’Italia. Myself and bridesmaid were greeted and attended to by Suchi. While I did not have an exact dress design or style in mind, just a budget, I showed her photos of what I had tried on that day, plus other photos of dresses I had saved previously as inspiration. My whole experience with Ditalia was fantastic! They were able to find the exact fabric I was looking for and understood the style i was trying to achieve. I was nervous in the beginning about whether my dress would turn out how I imagined, but after meeting my dressmaker I was totally at ease. I knew I would would leave with my dream dress, which I did! My wedding dress was EXACTLY how I had pictured in my mind, I honestly couldn't have been happier.

Really expensive, tried to get a quote, they quoted me twice what other places said and when I said so, they told me they don't make their dresses overseas. I didn't mention anything about overseas, and the quotes I got were from independent dress makers in Melbourne... Anyway, they're not being honest when they say they won't charge more for name-brand. They certainly will and because they have the traffic, they don't really seem to mind losing your business. Use someone who will care for you during your dress hunt. I had spent over three months looking for 'the dress', and could not find it anywhere. I had seen a few dress designers, but they wanted to charge an arm and a leg, THEN, I found D'ITALIA!!
