Our humble boutique has resided at 1009 High street, Armadale since we opened in the year 2000. Our passionate, hardworking owner and head tailor Siew Tan has nurtured her beloved business and in-house designed couture bridal gowns, realising the dreams of brides from all over Australasia. We believe we have been an essential, timeless asset in the growth and development of the bridal industry in Armadale, hence our name, Brides of Armadale.
At Brides of Armadale, we go above and beyond to help our brides in creating their dream gown. Together with our specialised team of stylists, designers and tailors, we will not only customise your gown, but also the experience of having your dream design made accomodating any personal circumstances.

Our Eloquence collection is inspired by its namesake - beauty in persuasion and speech.
This can be done via our 'Book a consultation' form or calling our boutique on (03) 9822 5302. We will take you through our gorgeous Melbourne designed collection of 100% customisable gowns. During your consultation your stylist and designer will assist you in finding gowns that suit your body shape and developing the design to become your dream dress!
The gowns in our current range start from $2,750 and go up to $5,500 with the average price being $3,300- $3,800. Gowns custom designed from scratch reflect a similar pricing to our current range but of course will vary depending on difficulty of design and fabrication. The gowns are all made to measure so the price is all-inclusive of all fittings and alterations ensuring a perfect 'glass slipper' fit!

To say our experience was AMAZING would be the biggest understatement! I would recommend Brides of Armadale to everyone I meet. Where to even begin! The ladies at Brides of Armadale went above and beyond to help create my dream dress. From the initial design process to the final fittings - these ladies know what their doing. Not only are they all genuinely lovely people who you look forward to seeing every time you go in, but they personally care and want to create something that you will cherish forever.

Suzie and Siew were absolutely amazing to work with. They were friendly, and super flexible - which was definitely needed in these strange times! They always made me feel welcome and looked after, and they did everything they could to make the dress work. Due to the lockdowns, my wedding was cancelled twice, and then rescheduled with only two weeks' notice, and in the meantime, my pregnant belly kept growing! Siew did an an incredible job to make the dress work, and I felt beautiful on my wedding day. Could not be happier x

I had such a wonderful experience at Brides of Armadale. The staff were so welcoming, friendly, helpful, and left a great impression from my first visit. Suzie is such a ray of sunshine!
The gowns at Brides of Armadale are already so gorgeous but what's even better is that they're customisable. I was able to pick and choose certain elements from different gowns I liked to have a bespoke one-of-a-kind couture gown created just for me. It was so special and I felt incredible in it on my wedding day!
Unfortunately, my wedding was postponed twice due to COVID-19 but the team was very accommodating

This review is long overdue but better late than never! I had such a great experience getting my wedding gown from BOA. Suzie & Siew were absolute delights to deal with and really went above and beyond to make sure my dress was perfect and my experience was stress free.
I chose one of their existing designs but was able to make some adjustments to the back of the bodice and incorporate a feature from the bottom of another dress I loved into this one, so the end result was almost a custom design which made it even more special!

Suzie and Siew are beautiful people who made this whole process a dream. They have a genuine passion for what they do. It's evident in their customer service, the care placed in the smalls details as well as the final product.

It wasn’t the easiest path to our wedding day, with a cheeky pandemic and a problematic venue, but my time at the boutique was such a safe haven from drama and stress and I was always so excited to come in for fittings… a) because of how I felt every time I got to see my dress but b) the best of hangs with Suzie. The day I picked up my dress was like loosing a friend because I knew the experience had come to an end!
I’m that girl who always dreamed of a wedding and finding my perfect dress. I think I always knew it wouldn’t be as easy as shopping “I like this one, we’ll take that!”

Had the most amazing experience designing and creating my dress at Brides of Armadale. They made me feel as if everything was achievable and nothing was a hassle - and after just 2 fittings my dress was completed and the quality and finish was absolutely perfect.
Suzie and Siew went above and beyond for me - they even managed to remake my veil for me in one day after my cheeky kitten ripped a hole in mine just two days before the wedding! I had the most beautiful experience at Brides of Armadale, actually smiling while writing this. Suzie is absolutely one of a kind - beautiful, fun, quirky and just a real kind soul. Suzie helped me design a dress I never thought I could ever wear. Siew's work is impeccable, nothing was ever too much trouble and her eye to detail was incredible Suzie and Siew really do strive for your dream dress and I honestly could not recommend them higher. Loved the entire journey.

It may seem a bit weird for a husband to post a review here but I would be more than happy to do it anyway. I would Highly recommend Brides of Armadale to anyone looking to make their wedding day extra special! They have delivered so well with my beautiful wife’s gown, that she literally shined and I was in awe! Not to mention that Suzie and her team were so lovely and professional, they made sure that my wife’s wedding gown would be the perfect fit and perfect match for her. This has relieved some of the stress we have in prepping for our wedding day and that made our visit to their store
