The Children's Dental Centre (CDC) is a specialist Paediatric Dental Clinic on the Sunshine Coast and Hervey Bay. We provide the best dental treatment your child can receive. Services
The Children's Dental Centre was formed by husband and wife, paediatric dentists Tim and Sarah, to provide the highest quality dental care from infancy to adolescence. A paediatric dentist is a specialist dentist that has undertaken additional University-based training. This is to help ensure that all children can get the best possible oral healthcare, taking into consideration their growth and development.
Dr. Sarah is a specialist paediatric dentist from Montreal in Canada. She graduated from Laval University with a doctorate in dental medicine in 2012 and completed a residency at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Her love of children brought her to complete a specialty degree in Paediatric Dentistry in 2016 at the University of Montreal.
If you are looking for specialist-level kids dental care, the Children's Dental Centre is available to take care of your kids' oral health. The CDC team have a particular passion for special-needs kids and adults. Having a custom designed kids dental clinic, means that the team can deliver a pleasant dental experience for your child.
Most kids don't like minty (spicy) toothpastes. However, the infant/young children toothpastes in Australia do not have enough fluoride to stop decay. The toothpastes we find most kids accept include; Maclean's Little Teeth and Big Teeth Toothpastes and the Colgate 6+ Toothpastes. For children less than 3 years only use a grain of rice amount and STRICT supervision.
We guarantee this will be the best, most stress-free, dental visit your child has ever had!. Our expert Paediatric Dentists and our awesome Dental Assistants look forward to helping your child achieve the best oral health they can in the most comfortable environment. We accept all major health funds and you can use the Medicare Child Dental Benefit Scheme at our practice.

Highly recommend!! My daughter saw Tim today and walked out saying "He is the best dentist ever...Mum, I asked him his name so I could remember him next time I see him!" She genuinely wanted to see him again. She is generally anxious with dentists but Tim explained everything to her before doing anything and she had a great experience! All the staff were lovely and made her feel very comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone! Amazing work guys!!

The team was able to accomodate us on a short notice and book in for a dental surgery. We dealt with both Dr Tim and Sarah. Both were fantastic, patient and pleasant. They took the time to explain all our options and procedure. The dental surgery wenr without a hitch, our daughter complained of almost no discomfort post op.
Very happy with our experience and will continue to make the long journey from brissy to see Dr Tim and the team.
The support team is very friendly, professional and helpful and were a pleasure to deal with.
Definitely recommend the clinic for little people.

We are amazed at the care we have received for our daughter Tully at Children's Dental Centre. We were always made to feel like a priority and were so very comfortable in a stressful, scary time!! Dr Tim and the lovely ladies at reception were always so friendly, caring and professional to the entire family. We can't thank you enough for the incredible job you have done with Tully's operation in hospital and fitting her tooth/ plate. It looks amazing.

Children's Dental Centre has completely transformed our experience of going to the dentist! Our little girl used to be terrified, with tears and crying and refusing to open her mouth, but since we have switched to Children's Dental she feels safe and listen too and now LOVES going to the dentist. She's even writing all her appointments on her calender and counting down the days till she can visit Dr Tim again! Now that we've been here I would never take my kids anywhere else. They are so helpful and understanding, always have time to answer questions and make sure everyone understands and is happy

Can’t recommend Dr Tim and the girls enough! From the minute you walk in and are greeted by Rani, you know you are in good hands. Tim is fabulous and my son loves going there! They are all so helpful, professional, honest and caring.I trust children’s dental centre with my children, knowing they are in great hands!

We recently had Dr Tim Keys and his team at Children's Dental Centre operate on our 2 year old son to fix damage to his 4 front teeth.
Honestly we couldn't recommend them highly enough - 5 stars seems insufficient for the level of care provided by Tim, his assistants and reception staff. They are ALL amazing with children, the facilities in the consultation rooms are AAA+++ and their attention to detail is next level.
Thank you to EVERYONE at Children's Dental Centre, we are absolutely thrilled with the results.

What a great addition to the Sunshine Coast I would highly recommend Dr Tim and the team at the Children’s Dental Centre they are absolutely amazing. All the staff are super friendly and so great with kids. The play room is filled with lots of fun toys to entertain the kids. They have gone above and beyond with little touches that make the visit fun and stress free for everyone. Tim is very professional, gentle and gives very clear explanations of what he does and recommendations. I’m so glad that we found this place and look forward to our next visit.

My daughter’s recent experience here was amazing. She was extremely anxious & scared as she knew she would have to have major dental work done. From the moment she stepped into the Centre she was comforted, everything was explained and activities were given to her to make the experience fun. Dr Tim was so patient with her and explained everything thoroughly to both of us. I highly recommend this place and am so grateful to the team for giving my daughter an experience that was the opposite to what she was expecting.
