Remedial massage uses techniques that manipulate the muscle tissue to assist in your recovery and rehabilitation after surgery or other injuries. The most common techniques used include, deep transverse friction, transverse friction, Chinese cupping, trigger point therapy, Myofascial release, assisted stretching, and recommended home stretches.
Post Surgical Intervention Massage Therapy is a medical treatment used to treat post operative conditions and to reduce scare tissue formation. As surgery can be a traumatic process for some, it is important that Post Surgical Intervention massage therapy has a holistic approach which will assist in your recovery.
Chinese Cupping is a specialized treatment which forms part of Traditional Chinese Medicine and can be used to complement other massage treatments. This technique creates a vacuum inside specialized glass cups which are placed on areas of the body to draw up underlying tissue. The suction effect causes local blood pooling in a generalized area to break down adhesive tissue and help remove toxins.

Where to start Karen has been massaging myself for a number of years now. Her professinalism is second to non from performing sports massages to using cupping and trigger point in her relaxed clinic i come out feeling like i have had a holiday, highly recomend if you have not experienced it book in today you wont be dissapointed.

I can't begin to describe what a wonderful experience having a massage from Karen Scott is.
Karen literally has magic hands! The massage was sensational! Starting with lovel clean fluffy towels, over a soft woolen underlay I was relaxed before the massage even started. Warm oil for the massage, then at the end of the massage, you get wiped down with a hot towel!
Karen is a very professional therapist who I would and do recommend to anyone who is in need of a fabulous massage. Thanks Karen!!
