Within the physiotherapy profession, manual therapy is defined as a clinical approach utilizing a skilled technique. This specific hands-on technique can be used for diagnosing and treatment of pathologies. Pathologies usually involve the musculoskeletal or neural system. Manual therapy requires a vast knowledge of the anatomy of the human skeleton, muscles and neural tissues and also functional anatomy of these structures.
Exercise therapy is a program that is used by health care professionals, especially by physiotherapists to help their patients with their problem. With it, it is aimed to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability among individuals who suffer from pain and dysfunction. This includes where movement and function are compromised due to aging, injury, disease or environmental factors.
At Move Well Physiotherapy, we use Interferential Stimulator, TENS and biofeedback device as the electrical agencies. The interferential stimulator is a low-frequency treatment (usually 1-250 Hz) that uses two medium frequency currents which interfere with each other to produce a beat frequency that the body recognizes as a low-frequency energy source.

Mel is a great physiotherapist. She is very confident and fully aware about what she’s doing. From the first minute, she will find solutions that your pain will be relieved as quickly as possible and will do her best to make you stronger not to return to the moment you are in. I have gone to her with the complaint of annular tear, she helped me a lot in my recovery progress to get rid of my pain and made me stronger than I ever.

An excellent Physio. I suffered from sciatic pain in my lower back and was unable to walk and very close to surgery. Went to Mel and she showed me some exercises and within a month my pain reduced substantially. Today, I am completely cured and the pain is all gone. Kudos to the way she approaches the problem and gradually strengthens your body.
