Services
Our architect designed cottages merge into the Rainforest with expansive views over the Pacific Ocean. There are only 4 cottages spread amongst 60 acres of Rainforest, Grassy Hills and Native gardens. Walking tracks throughout the property will allow you to observe close up some of the local wildlife or maybe a relaxing game of tennis or just sit and watch the wild ducks on the pond.
Our Oceanview Cottages are ideally located within easy drive of Noosa, Maroochydore, Blackall Ranges, Montville, Maleny and Kenilworth districts. Stroll along the main street of Montville (only 10mins drive) and get lost for hours in the superb variety of craft shops, restaurants and other unique shops.
Montville Ocean View Cottages is located at: 549 Palmwoods Montville Road, Montville, Queensland Australia. Continue on Nambour Connection Road past the Big Pineapple on your right and take the Palmwoods exit on your left. Drive through Palmwoods and continue approx 5.5k along the Palmwoods Montville Road to 549 (it is 800 metres on the left past Kirby Road on your left).

Wow, what a weekend get away.
After 2 years in a crazy covid world we spent two nights in this natural paradise. The host Andy and Jenny were so thoughtful with the presentation of the accommodation and the finishing touches of food platters, Breakfast grill, coffee making facilities, champagne, chocolates.
The peace and serenity was exactly what we needed.

Wow, we have just come back from weekend stay feeling so relaxed and stress free, was my partners 60th birthday Friday, so I organised a surprise getaway for him, couldn't of chosen a better gift if I tried, he was so impressed with the cottage, view and the wildlife. From the time we entered the front door we felt relaxed,to be honest I didn't want to come home,but I know squatting is highly illegal 😉,. Will definitely be going back soon to destress.

Now I like to think I leave fair reviews, because I have a lot of grievances with places and things I haven't liked and I have no problem airing those publicly but there is not a single negative thing about this place.
It is beyond perfect and run impeccably by some really lovely people.
If you're looking for a place to book, stop looking and just book this place. You won't regret it for a second.

Can't speak highly enough of this place. The setting is absolutely stunning and the cabins are well appointed. Breakfast platters were delicious and the cheese, champagne and chocolate was a lovely touch. Overall everything was well considered and the surrounds so serene and peaceful, complete with a few friendly visitors at breakfast time. It was perfect for our babymoon getaway.

Stayed for 2 nights and literally did not see another human being on the property despite 3 other cottages, but I know owners Andy and Kai worked super hard in the background as our stay was perfect. The cottage itself was clean and spacious. The breakfast platter each morning was delicious and cooking it on your own outdoor BBQ in the rainforest setting was surreal. Our room also got a clean and tidy midstay. Tennis court was fun too. Would highly recommend for a private romantic getaway.

Location and view were stunning. Facilities were clean and well appointed. Disappointed we couldn't get wi-fi or reception and couldn't even get a clear signal to watch T.V. Also wished I'd realised before booking that we had to cook our own breakfast. I think for $480 a night this is well overpriced and could get just as good if not better for cheaper.

Thank you to Andy and Kai! Fantastic service! We were assisted with our requests with early check in and late departure. Magnificent food, coffee and supplies. Thanks for a wonderful time as although the perfect romantic get-away, it was perfect for our stay. We recently received a serious mental health diagnosis and the stay gave us the opportunity to relax and ‘work things out’ in a peaceful setting with no interruptions or hassles.

Absolutely magical, we were blessed on our first night to have a vivid dry storm we watched the light show from our king sized bed, everything about these cottages from the resident dog jack to the glorious male peacock and all the inclusions made you feel special, the cottages are well appointed and the hosts are fantastic with great attention to detail, you really don’t need to leave the cottage as there’s heaps to do, but if you want to cruise the Main Street of montville it’s only 6kms away, highly recommend five stars

Thank you so much. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with you and the place is amazing. The views over Mount Coolumn from our cabin. We had a lovely bottle of champagne. Breaks of bacon,eggs, sausages, mushies and tomato’s both mornings. Weber bbq to cook the food. Spa bath over looking the view. Woke up to the amazing view. The wildlife of peacock, pea hen, butcher bird, magpies, kookaburra. Such a relaxing time and such a short drive to Montville.
