These include prevention-focused general dentistry, smile-rejuvenating cosmetic dentistry & teeth whitening, "crucial to the development of the younger generation" children's dentistry, oral surgery and dental implants to replace missing teeth. Other dental services include laser dentistry for treatment of gum disease and tooth decay, treatment of oro-facial pain, orthodontics and hygiene appointments.
General dentistry involves evaluation, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of a wide variety of dental conditions affecting the teeth, gums and the jaw. We are a child-friendly practice, with Australia's first Waterlase IPlus dental laser in use to provide pain-free dentistry alternative to needles and drills for young and nervous patients.
The foundation of general dentistry is the treatment of tooth decay, tooth wear and tooth trauma. Compromised tooth structure is thus removed and the function, integrity and shape of the tooth are restored with fillings. At NMD, we use exclusively highly aesthetic white fillings. Also called composite fillings, white fillings are a lot more conservative of the tooth structure than other dental filling materials.
Root canal treatment (RCT) is a simple dental procedure used to treat tooth infection without losing your natural tooth. It is needed when the blood or nerve supply of the tooth is infected through decay, fracture, trauma or failure to treat a broken filling.
The treatment of the infected tooth involves the removal of the infected nerve tissue, cleaning and sterilisation, followed by sealing of the decontaminated root canal to protect it against future microbial invasion.NMD then recommends restoring a root-filled tooth with a crown to make it stronger.

I took my son to this dentist and they overcharged us. Very expensive and my family certainly wont be going back. The dentist dabbed some floride paste on my sons teeth at the end of the session and charged us $45.50 on top of everything else for this! I have health insurance but that shouldn't mean that they are allowed to overcharge the way she did. I will not be back. She has lost my family (5 customers) not including the people who wont go after reading this post. Not good. This is why health insurance in becoming unaffordable for many families. We need conpetition in the marketplace that
