Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had great food here but multiple dramas when I comes to take away. My order got cancelled after waiting an hour longer than was quoted. I ended up reordering and when I got home it was missing the one item I was really hanging out for. Their response was to give me a mobile number to text next time I eat in to get the price of that item taken off my bill. This was just the latest of several bad experiences from this place. I’m finally done with them.

Came here after being inspired for a Japanese meal after Japanese film festival. The food was pretty terrible for the price paid ($156 for 4) plus drinks. The sushi was no better than what you find at any train station. Sauces were lacking flavour and the meats were bland and tired. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and we wanted a cosy spot by the wall but we were told we couldn't combine 2 tables to make a table for 4. Sauces accidentally spilled on the table and no effort was made by waitress to clean it up (had to clean up our own). Our guests from the US were horrified. The service

What can I say more, there are heaps of nicer place around the area than the waste your money here, after my friend left a review, the owner got really defensive and saying it's our fault that our dishes came out so long and not willing to take the dish that we cancelled. Apparently this place changed management a while ago and it's definitely a shame. Since I can't reply to the previous bad comment: 1. So are you saying that it is our fault that we pick a restaurant that has at least 30 mins wait time? We can understand places have been busier during Fridays and weekends, but none of the staff

Very nice ambiance. Beautifully presented dishes. Salmon Ikura was fresh and tangy. Spicy Tuna Poke was delicious with a hint of yuzu. Tempura was light though not as crispy as those you find in Japan. Tempura dip should be served in a bowl with grated radish instead of plain in a small dish. The sashimi tacos were interesting. The salsa three me off a little. The crispy Nori is a bit hard. Staff was friendly. Overall, I think it's a fabulous restaurant! Keep it up!
