Our Sydney based company was established in 2006 by Robin Shaw, a Civil Engineer with 20 years experience in civil engineering and building services. For 10 years Robin specialised in construction and refurbishment of water retaining structures, both in Australia and overseas.
With Sydney's aging residential apartments now requiring obvious refurbishment, Robin identified a need for specialist building services in this corner of the building industry and so Everest Contracting was born. Robin brings his expertise in constructing industrial structures and waterproofing, combined with project management experience in civil contracting to the forefront of Everest Contracting.

The bulk of Everest Contracting's projects consist of remedial building work - or fixing building problems that are ultimately the result of the original builder not conforming to Australian building codes and standards. One of the common issues we come across are waterproofing issues. Water ingress is the term used to describe the permeation of water into the structure of a building.
