I'm John, an easy going photographer living in Margaret River. Family is everything to me, I love the adventures that I share in the South West with my wife Shannon, daughters Lily and Summer and son Felix. We live on a hectare of land which is a short stroll through the forest to Margaret River. We love nipping down there for swims with our dog Jabba who is a "mad as" kelpie.

John is the master of his profession! Super easy going and fun to work with. I had been wanting family portraits for years but had never got around to it! John was very accomodating and changed times at last minute due to weather. He managed to capture stunning photos of my family in a very short space of time. John was amazing and honestly I am struggling to find the right words for just how happy I am with our photos. Both my husband and I do not enjoy getting our photos taken but John made us feel so relaxed and was able to catch so many beautiful shots. We had a photoshoot with John on the 26th of October 2019. We had a gift certificate for $750 which includes the photoshoot itself and a free large photo. John asked for a refundable $50 deposit for the booking. During our session he was extremely nice. After we finished the photoshoot, we went to choose the photos and we ended up choosing only 1… photo (which is complementary with the voucher). John quickly lost interest in us and was unclear about when and how the complementary photo would be sent to us. He also made no mention of returning the $50 refundable deposit. After following up

We were lucky to have a family photo session with John today. We have a VERY energetic 3 year old and spunky 6 year old. Man, John has the patience of a Saint and knows how kids tick! He knew how to engage them… to make them smile and react and then he knew how to change it up quickly when they became bored. The images were to die for, set in the amazing Boranup Forrest!!! I truly recommend John's services! 5 grains of rice!!
