We drove past and saw a lot of open sites (@6:30pm)! We rang to book a site...was told that they were fully booked😃

This place is the most dirtiest caravan park i every been to. The caretaker boss was drunk when we got there, rude , cranky. The toilets & showers were disgusting. Put in your dont do list. Payed 3 nights left in 2 night.

Very very poor. $35 for a powered site for 2 people is outrageous. The amenities are filthy - I had to clean around the shower before using it. And my wife found a frog in the toilet.
As the only van park in the town they take advantage of those not wanting to free camp.
Keep going to either Theodore showgrounds or Miles.

We stayed over night here last night. The amenities are very clean and the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. He recommended the local pub which is a 5 minute walk and we had a delicious meal there. Well worth a stop over. We found $35 for a powered site about average price for this area.

This is a nice clean and tidy place. The amenities are lovely and clean, as is the laundry area. The only downside to the Taroom Caravan Park is the price for a powered site a night. $35 a night is quite high. Maybe if they charged between $20 & $25, that would be be better. When we arrived the caravan park was empty, bar one other travelling public.

Avoid this place. Arrived at 5:30 and was greeted by a extremely intoxicated man who huffed and puffed that we arrived so late. (Although we called in advance to book and let him know we would be arriving at this time.) He stumbled around booking us in rolling his eyes as we wanted to pay with eftpos. Than got angry at us for driving to slow our camp spot. Than got mad we drove to fast.
The showers can only have 1 shower running at once or you will be lest standing in a cold cubical. After 2 weeks on the road this is the first and most terrible experience I’ve had with accomodation.

A small caravan park tucked away in town. We were welcomed by Trevor who was very accommodating to our requests of showers, water and fire 🔥
Trevor was pleasant and showed us to our sites
The ammenities need a lot of attention but we did get our hot shower one at a time. The laundry had free washing machines and coin operated dryers.
Trevor directed us to a hit evening meal … the bowls club we chose , the meals were delicious and the club had a very friendly atmosphere.

Avoid this place at all costs! We arrived at 5:30pm with nobody in reception so we called the after hours number. (We had already informed the park we would be arriving around 5:30). We were greeted by a very rude intoxicated man. Check in took about 15 minutes for 2 cars, the manager kept staring at us, shaking his head and making a big huff and puff about checking us in. When we asked to pay via eftpos he just shook his head as though it was to hard for him to use the eftpos machine. Due to his intoxicated state it took him a few minutes to get the eftpos machine to work. He then showed us to

Very basic, outdated amenities , very overpriced for an overnight stay, we were planning to stay longer but couldn't see the value. probably worth $20 not $35 I think the guy in the ffice was on happy hour at 2 pm???. but he was helpful. would we stay there again ? probably not. A bit of a drawback for a lovely town

Planned to stay here just 2 nights but ended up for 4. A basic caravan park in a beautiful, peaceful setting - a birdwatchers paradise. Great fire pit with wood supplied made for a pleasant evening with fellow campers. Manager was very helpful and friendly. Would give more stars but amenities in the upper block were a little basic although clean enough.
