There is an increasing trend for pregnant mothers to seek Chiropractic treatment as it is a non-invasive means of helping them cope with structural changes that causes lower back pain, pelvic hip pain, neck pain, headaches, carpal tunnel and sciatica during pregnancy. Yes it is! Just like all healthcare modalities, achieving pain relief, comfort and care is at our utmost priority.
Not only do athletes like Tiger Woods, Usian Bolt, Arnold Schwartzeneger, Ronda Rousey, seek advice from sports chiropractors when they are injured, Chiropractic treatment is used to ensure they are performing at their prime condition so they achieve their personal best! Both our sports chiropractors have been athletes themselves and have needed chiropractic support.
Children are always encouraged to keep moving and be active! While a child's body and spinal joints are incredibly flexible and often perceived as being capable of bouncing back from the minor and major stresses, compensations in joint movement function may start to occur.
If your child is constantly tripping or feeling clumsy while running during a soccer game, or always complaining of a sore back or hamstring after a game of cricket, it is a sign that your child may have to come in for a chiropractic assessment. Here at LJ Chiropractic we do an overall check for your child's symmetry in muscle function and joint movement to make sure they are perfoming at their best.

Falls account for more than 80% of injury related hospital admission in people older than 65 years and they are the leading cause of injury-related death in older adults. Related direct medical costs are at least $19 billion, expected to reach $44 billion by 2020. Of those fallers whose injuries require hospitalisation, 40-50% subsequently lose their independence and enter a nursing home.

I can't thank or recommend Lowrie highly enough for the exceptional service she provided me with, over the years I have seen many different Chiropractors but never really seem to get the outcome that I need but this isn't the case with Lowrie, excellent service, and again highly recommended. Thank you

Simply brilliant! Was a bit dubious beforehand but had such bad pain in my hip and I could not walk so I thought I'd give her a go. Absolutely fantastic. After a chat and a basic examination she diagnosed "Maigns syndrome" - basically inflamed muscles and nerves in part of the back. She did a deep massage, and whilst a bit sore she was careful and considerate the whole time. The following day I was a bit sore, but all the pain had gone. Superb! Dont be put off by scare stories etc, there was no bone clicking, just careful thorough massage and real professional knowledge. I cannot recommend her
