Kate Franklin is a Sydney based makeup artist. She works mainly on bridal parties, but is also available for advertorial work, editorial and fashion makeup, special events and school formals. Kate is known and remembered for her natural and flawless makeup looks and her soft and personable approach with clients.
Having lived overseas for a number of years, Kate trained and worked with the internationally renowned makeup artist Natasha Denona. Kate also spent time working at M.A.C. Cosmetics, where she gained valuable makeup experience. In 2014 she returned to Australia to be closer to her family and continue her makeup business, which she is so passionate about.

Had my makeup done by Kate, and she did such an amazing job. She was very knowledgeable about her craft and created such a beautiful look for me. This was the first time I had my makeup done professionally, and Kate made this experience so fun and worthwhile. Couldn't recommend her highly enough!!

Kate is such an amazing makeup artist! She had done looks on both myself and family members and we always love what she creates. I feel so beautiful and confident in Kates looks. She is highly professional and takes the time to make sure your skin is glowing. She is a lovely person to chat to and has so much knowledge. I cannot recommend this makeup artist enough!

Kate did an absolutely incredible job of our wedding makeup. We were all absolutely over the moon, I felt sooo beautiful and glamorous, and my makeup stayed perfect all day and all night. Even through copious crying at the ceremony! Kate took so much care with each of us, working with our various skin types and creating colour combos that worked so beautifully for each of us. As if that wasn't enough, she was such a joy to be around, very calm, very funny and just an all round lovely presence to have while we were getting ready. I can't recommend Kate highly enough, she really did the most amazing

Kate did an incredible job on my formal makeup! After 6 hours of talking, eating and drinks, the makeup looked as fresh as when she put it on and I didn’t have to reapply lipstick. She was bubbly, caring, considerate, friendly and make me feel comfortable & beautiful. I definitely recommend her services and will be using her again!!

Kate did a wonderful job on my make up for my wedding, including my bridesmaids and my mum. I looked and felt completely glamorous, without having half a tonne of foundation on.
Kate matched the range of skin tones in my bridesmaids and matched us look-wise, while keeping everyone happy with slight variations that they needed.
It was a pleasure having Kate do my make up and I would book her again in a heartbeat!

Kate did such an incredible job on my wedding day make up, she made me feel beautiful while still looking natural. Most importantly, she listened to what I wanted and mixed that with her expertise. She even took the time to teach me make up tips for my everyday life. She calmed my nerves, made me laugh and was a complete professional.

Kate did my makeup for my dress up birthday party- the theme was 'harajuku'. She'd never done anything like it before but from seeing her previous work, I felt confident in her ability. Kate went above and beyond! She researched the style and technique, went to specialty stores to buy extra little bits and pieces to add to the overall effect, and it was AMAZING. Everyone was blown away. It goes to show that her skills are easily translatable from bridal/party to theatrical. And we laughed the whole time, it was such an enjoyable and easy experience. She's incredibly talented. Highly recommend!

I just love Kate's work! She knows how to enhance your features beautifully and naturally. She's also great at fun and creative party looks, like she did for my sister's dress up party. In addition, Kate is pleasant, makes you feel comfortable and is very easy to work with. I will definitely be using her again!
