Mount Lofty House offers a delightful selection of rooms and fit-outs: choose between the Original, Classic, Piccadilly Garden or Valley View Rooms. For more space and a 'Lord of the Manor' feel, pick one of our Suites or book one of our four Cottages which accomodate between 4-10 people. Located throughout the estate, our classic rooms offer a superb blend of comfort and style.
Both of our outdoor ceremony locations overlook stunning Piccadilly Valley and will make your special day even more unique and captivating. Take in picturesque views and beautiful surroundings. Piccadilly Lawns is our personal favourite while the split level Tiered Lawns overlook the manicured rose garden and have a trickling Tuscan fountain close by.

Had the most wonderful 1-night stay here. Our only regret was not staying for 2! Highly recommend you participate in the 5pm introductory talking tour (free) as there is so much history to this site and rooms you won’t get to see otherwise. You also get a sense of the passion all the staff have for their place of work. Excellent experience. Oh, and a super comfortable bed!

We have been there so many times to this place to photograph our client weddings. But last time with the new team management is absolutely exceptional!! Manager, serving staff, coordinator are truly… professional. Plus beautiful location, so many stunning photo spots and also delicious food. We had such a great night!! Highly recommend for whoever looking for their wedding venue.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mt Lofty House. Every staff member we came across provided professional service. The dinner at Hardy Verandah was amazing. As was breakfast with a beautiful view over the hills. We will definitely be back again, it would've been great to have time for a hike and a massage too.

We stayed with two young kids and had an amazing experience. We were initially really upset that we could not experience fine dining as we were told over the phone that we had to pay per person for our group even for the kids aged 1 & 2 yo! However you really turned our rating from 1 star to 5 stars. On arrival, Chris organised a private room for us for fine dining and we managed to order from a separate kids menu for the children. Food was delicious but most importantly we managed to enjoy all our meals in comfort with excellent service. We have stayed in lots of places with beautiful view and

We both experienced a truly wonderful night at Mt Lofty House. Both myself and my husband cannot recommend the amazing food and service highly enough. From the moment we arrived, a very kind young man… assisted me with my walker and oxygen into reception for which I am most grateful. Then we enjoyed a glass of hot mulled wine and looked after so magnificently by the wonderful reception staff. We felt like royalty. Excellent. Great service. Stunning building with large, well appointed rooms. The views differ so be conscious of that when booking. We stayed in a garden view room which actually has nice views than the valley room views at the moment as there is construction taking place in that direction. Restaurants on site are great and there’s a fantastic pub in Crafers only 3 minutes drive away if you do want something different. Highly recommend.

MLH took care of me personally very well the night before, as I spied the grounds in preparation for my future bride/wife/queen-to-be to join me the night after, once we'd tied the knot.
A very straighforward no-stress check-in, followed by a quick walk of the grounds to get my bearings and grab some fresh air. The grounds here are spectacular and if you are lucky enough to be able to stay here, even if only for one night, get here as early as

Update 3/1/17 The Hotel is renovated even better than before. We stayed the night in a standard room with was simple but nice. (No bottle opener!!!) Noisey wedding guests no doubt drunk on the free alcohol were an issue as was the ever hot/cold surging shower in the morning . Unfortunately the breakfast was terrible. We ordered the full breakfast and the buffet. It's hard to believe how bad it was. Old fruit, rock hard sliced avocado, terrible flat white, empty juices bottles, packet mueslis, 5 people always crowding around one toaster. The told us the breakfast wasn't included in room

Wow, can't fault this place!
Came to Mount Lofty House for a friend's 70th and everything was perfect. After checking into our rooms we were treated to drinks and canapés on the balcony. The mushroom arancini were really yummy. We then moved into the dining room for a 3 course meal. The food was delicious! Being pregnant I had to ask for my steak to be cooked well done (menu stated all steaks would be medium) they were very accommodating and my steak was cooked to perfection. The shallot and carrot puree with it was absolutely amazing!
After dinner we retired to our room for the night
