A popular neighbourhood gem. Delicious food with large serving sizes. We had the Mean Baked Beans and the Traditional Lasagne.
The food overall was good and very filling. You can tell they put in effort when preparing the salad in the lasagne, the dressing was brilliant and everything was sliced delicately, the dressing was light and flavourful. You can taste the actual beef flavour and texture in the lasagne, but there just wasn't enough meat and sauce in between the layers, it was a bit dry, but the cheese and general flavour was good.

As a local this is my go to place in the area. Whether it be for a coffee and cake (the pastries and pear custard cake are my fav) or to grab some delicious take away meals that make life so convenient. (You… have to try the pizza) The team at Pimlott and Strand are always so welcoming and go above and beyond for their customers. It’s the perfect local spot for all your needs.

Always get a coffee from them before I head to the class. Perfect coffee everytime I had it. And today finally sat down and tried their famous burger, donuts and pear custard cake. All perfect! Customers service and atmosphere are great too. Saw others brought their dogs sitting outside and a small playzone for children. What more can you ask for? 10 out of 10 from me for today experience (^^)b

BEST place for a group lunch. Fast and friendly service and yummy authentic food. The lovely Trish gave us a couple of extra berries to garnish our smoothies which were delicious! (Especially the white choc one 😋). Great vegetarian options although the meatballs and polenta are just way too good not to try! Thanks Pimlott and Strand!!
