What better way to document this momentous occasion than by having a maternity photo shoot in Sydney? Such an exciting experience and time to record the enormous changes in your development so you remember how radiant you looked.
We encourage our mums to book the maternity and newborn package as it represents the best value for money (who doesn't want that!) and it also gives us a chance to get to know each other a little bit before your bundle of joy arrives.Maternity photography sessions are best scheduled between 30-34 weeks and will take about an hour.

If you are looking for some fine art portraits for your last weeks of pregnancy our specialty shoots are for you. Fun, relaxing and a little bit different. You will have a little bit of fun and can incorporate your own personality into the shoot. A milk bath session is a beautiful and unique way to capture your body at this special time.
Newborn images are best taken in the first 5-14 days after birth. This is when you will get the best images, the poses and facial expressions are unique at that stage and should be captured to be remembered. Babies at this stage are still very flexible and like to be in 'curled up' poses similar to when they were in the womb.
In a perfect world you would book in advance of your baby's birth. We take a limited number of clients each week to ensure we have enough sessions for everyone (given many babies do not arrive on their due date!) We shoot newborns when they are 14 days old or less, ideally on days 5-12 to achieve those sleepy relaxed images you may have seen.
We love to photograph older babies as well as newborns. Sometimes the first few weeks are just so busy that you don't get around to organising photos. For 12 weeks to 6 months we can capture your gorgeous baby laying on their back or tummy or propped up in our baskets and props. We suggest baby be awake for these shoots.

Wendy was kind enough to fit me in very last minute for my maternity and newborn photo sessions and I am so happy she did, as she's done an excellent job at both! Not only is her attention to details exceptional, but she was very patient and careful in handling my newborn and took on board the feedback I provided in the type of photography style I desired, particularly for the maternity photos. She's also quick to respond to emails and provided me with the beautifully edited photos in a very timely fashion (within 1 to 2 weeks).

Wendy was such a pleasure to deal with. We booked her for our 1 year olds cake smash and she exceeded our expectations in how professional and accommodating she was to bring our ideas for the shoot to life. There was heavy rain on the day of the shoot so we could not do the milk bath outside as we originally wanted to. Wendy was able to give us more of her time the following week when the weather was more pleasant just so we can get the extra pics we wanted. Thanks so much Wendy! We have amazing pictures we can look back on for years to come

Wendy is an amazing photographer. She has photographed my baby on 2 occasions now and the photos turned out to be really good. Love the ways she captures the small little details. Can’t wait for my little one’s cake smash shoot with her.
Not only is she a great photographer but very gentle with the baby and let’s them take their time to settle. Wish could give more stars.

Wendy was amazing. She captured our twins from when they were brand new up to their 1-year. She was very helpful in giving us ideas and always tell us what to expect in every shoot. She is very professional at the same time not "commercialized " that she was just like a family/friend doing the photos. We trusted her with the works and they were all beautiful. Chapter One was an investment well spent. Highly recommended.

We had our maternity, newborn, sitter session and cake smash done by Wendy. We are so impressed with our gorgeous photos capturing such precious moments. Wendy is so talented and professional, she was so careful with our little one at all the sessions and was very patient when he wasn't cooperating. All her photos are of great quality and simply capture the sweet beauty of your little one without being overly edited. Her pricing is reasonable and she does great packages. We are in love with all our photos and I couldn't pick 1 favourite if I had to.
