I consider myself incredibly fortunate to live in magnificent Byron Bay, NSW. When I'm not officiating wedding ceremonies and curating love-filled moments, you'll find me at the beach at sunrise with my two rocking ridgebacks, trying to be flexible at a yoga class or hanging out at the local farmer's markets.
I love teaming up with couples who are excited about their ceremony, and helping them create relaxed, heartfelt ceremonies that are uniquely YOU. The ceremony sets the vibe for the rest of the day, so we'll create something special that your guests will remember. After your wedding date is booked, I'll guide you through the legal paperwork, making sure the process is simple and stress-free.

In Byron Bay and the surrounding Hinterland we're blessed with so many stunning locations that would make the perfect backdrop for your special day. No bells and whistles This is when you literal want to get marry, apart from being in a heartless register office, we can do it in a cafe, or on the beach at Byron, Brunswick Heads, Gold Coast.
A funeral is a sacred occasion, offering an opportunity to reflect and share the story of a life; to honour their memory one while creating space to grieve and come together. My approach is to capture the essence of your loved one. A person's life is a collection of moments. I can help you to capture, share and celebrate those moments.
Legally you can get married within 31 days of completing the Notice of Intended Marriage. As your celebrant I'm required to have the document in my hands one month and one day before your ceremony. Passports work best, otherwise your birth certificate with a form of photo ID e.g A drivers licence, proof of age ID or passport.

Dean is amazing! He made us feel so comfortable and relaxed on the day but also throughout our whole journey was super easy to work with and responded to all our questions. He made wedding planning so effortless and we would highly recommend him. Dean made our guest enjoy our ceremony making it fun and bringing the love and energy to the wedding. If we could get married again we would 1000% use Dean! Our family and friends spoke so highly of him as well post our wedding and that just made us even more happier.

From the very beginning, choosing the right celebrant felt like a daunting task! You think the dress, the venue, the other vendors are stressful in getting it 'right' - yet we knew our choice of celebrant would make or break the most special part of our day. Dean came recommended by one of our original venues (changed many times - thanks Covid) yet we wanted him despite all the changes from NSW to QLD because immediately when we skyped him we felt at ease, it felt personalised, and his natural and organic humour connected really easily with ours. Dean was everything we could have asked for in a celebrant! He is relaxed, sincere, engaging and lighthearted, but also very professional and listened to our requirements for the day. We chose Dean before covid had ravaged the world (and less importantly the wedding industry) and what a blessing this was in hindsight. Dean brings a passion and positive energy to each topic discussed and helped make us feel at ease and excited even through 3 postponements.
Dean went out of his way to make sure the day was as comfortable as possible - playing ultimate navigator to myself, my (now) husband, family and friends on our wedding day. So many of our guests commented on the tone and energy Dean set for the day. Even the guests dialed into the live-stream felt they were warmly acknowledged

We cannot thank Dean enough for helping us create a magical and memorable wedding ceremony which was fun, relaxed, filled with lots of love and barley a dry eye.

Dean was our celebrant for our wedding in Byron Bay. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxed, professional, supportive and fun celebrant to help us personalise the ceremony and to make it our own.
