Today I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Alison, 33 weeks pregnant with her first beautiful babe. I just love meeting new clients and being a part of their journey like this - being able to capture some gorgeous memories for them in the most special part of their lives. Special thanks to Sophie Johnson Makeup Artist for her amazing hair & makeup work today as always!

Maternity sessions are best booked for between approx. 32-36 weeks, depending on your health and the size of your belly. I also have a special offer for both maternity and newborn sessions booked together - contact me to find out more. You can keep up-to-date with all my most recent images, news and information on my Facebook page and Instagram page.
Services
Whether it's just baby; brothers & sisters; mother & daughter; or the whole family - these are some of the most beautiful images you will cherish for life. We will discuss date, time, location, payment etc via email. Everything will be confirmed a few days before your session. You will be required to sign my standard Portrait Photography Agreement before your session.
Maternity sessions are best held between 32 - 36 weeks pregnant, where your belly is big enough to make a nice photographic impact, but you are still feeling reasonably comfortable. If you have any health complications during your pregnancy, we may need to schedule your session earlier than this to avoid missing out on photos.
Newborns are best photographed between 5-16 days old. If you would like to have your newborn photographed, you must contact me while you are still pregnant - around 24 weeks is ideal. I often book newborn sessions over 4 months in advance, so please contact me early to avoid disappointment.

If for any reason you are not able to book in while baby is brand new, I am also very experienced photographing slightly older newborns - usually around 5-8 weeks old.Although this age range is older than a traditional "newborn" session, and babies tend not to sleep or curl into posing as a newborn does, don't despair!
Please come prepared - squeaky toys for baby, a change of clothes, favourite snacks, etc. I don't structure the shoot too seriously, so hopefully it will feel like more of a play-date than a posed photoshoot. Don't stress if your child is shy or in a bad mood. I've never yet had a session end without capturing at least one happy smile!
If you've ever had a studio photo session before, you'd probably know that it can be quite posed and structured (which isn't necessarily a bad thing!). A lifestyle session is completely different - I aim to capture your family in a very natural and authentic way, with very little structured posing.
