St Leonards Physio By The Bay
Neil Wise moved to St Leonards in 2015 establishing St Leonards Physio by the Bay to continue sharing his expertise with the community of the Bellarine Peninsula. Previously co-founder and Practice Principal at Oak Park Physiotherapy & Pilates, Neil has seen the physiotherapy profession evolve significantly over his 30 years in practice.

To keep abreast of these changes Neil has continuously updated his education through additional training in The McKenzie Method (Cred MDT), Clinical Pilates, Dry-needling, Explain Pain and Health Change Methodology to name but a few. At St Leonards Physio by the Bay his aim is to provide "Best Practice" which is a combination of evidence-based treatment and advice, together with a client-centred approach.
Services
In assessing your needs Neil will take a detailed history, taking into account your current and previous episodes, expectations and beliefs. A clinical and functional assessment will then direct the following discussion about the management of your condition and available evidence-based treatment options.
We are able to provide treatment for private, concession and aged pension clients with or without referral from your Doctor. Rebates are claimable on ancillary health cover using our HICAPS and EFTPOS facilities on-site at St Leonards Physio by the Bay. With third party insurers such as Medicare CDM (formerly known as EPC), TAC, Worksafe & DVA clients your Doctor's referral will be required.
A: As explained on the "Services" page a detailed assessment will be followed by a discussion of an agreed plan of action. Please wear comfortable loose clothing & where appropriate bring shorts or singlet tops to allow access to area to be examined. A: Private (self-funding) patients do not require a referral to see a physiotherapist or if you have an accepted TAC or Workcover claim.

I would like to encourage anyone with Physio problems to contact Neil as soon as possible, I found him courteous, respectful, and above all very very knowledgeable, he was able to correct the problems I had been having for over 2 1/2 years, in just three visits, I am very impressed with his attitude to my problems and his nonsense approach
