Services
Established in 1989, Sorrento Physiotherapy has been committed to the health and wellbeing of the Mornington Peninsula community for the past 30 years. At Sorrento Physiotherapy we pride ourselves on making your health a priority, and being local residents, we are available for consultation by appointment 7 days a week.
The Physiotherapists at Sorrento Physiotherapy are highly qualified and experienced in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal pain. We employ a combination of manual therapy, exercise therapy and electrotherapy techniques to facilitate prompt and complete recovery with minimal risk of recurrence.
Neck pain is very common with about one in 10 people having pain at any given time. Lifestyle issues are common factors in the causes of neck pain and issues such as sitting in front of a computer, prolonged periods of television watching and an increasing incidence of poor posture - particularly forward head posture.
Physiotherapy is particularly effective in treatment of spinal pain. Back pain affects up to 80% of the population and may include radiating pain and/or numbness into the legs, pins and needles, burning sensation, cramping and in severe cases can cause muscular dysfunction.
Our Physiotherapists can accurately assess and diagnose the cause of your pain and dysfunction and, if required, organise for appropriate x-ray, MRI, or other investigations to support the diagnosis.
