My friend and I came to Sydney for New Year’s Eve and stayed at this hotel. There were some technical issues with our booking however we were met with kindness and compassion from the staff. Maria was an absolute pleasure to deal with and had excellent customer service. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, which made for a great New Years! Will be staying here next time we come.

This hotel is very inconsiderate to the residents in the area. They have been using the blower to blow leaves at 4am in the middle of the night, very annoying. Do not stay here.

I’ve been coming here for few years, it was everything good before. I always appreciate their service and satisfied and made good reviews for them. But now it’s the hotel, gave me a wrong information of check out time and impolite and ESPECIALLY cockroach in the room, enough big to make me wake up at 3 am

The Metro Aspire is my favourite hotel in Sydney. It's in a central yet very peaceful location in Ultimo, with quiet streets and excellent access to shops and Darling Harbour. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable, and the rates are very reasonable. Each room opens onto a private and shady balcony that looks into the tree tops - you could sleep with the balcony doors open if you love to sleep with fresh air. The staff are exceptionally kind and accommodating. When I messed up my most recent booking, they fixed it, making me a very happy customer. 😊 I have stayed here several times,

Overall wonderful stay for our self-isolation. The staff were friendly and accommodating for all our needs. Minor issue with a neighbour blowing a fuse that affected our bathroom lighting too, but it was fixed once we called it in.

This is the fourth time that I stay in the hotel and it is the best compared to the service and the price. The whole staff has great service, but Maria's service is legendary

Just a short walk to Darling Square, Chinatown and Spice Alley, the Metro Aspire has been.a great place for our Sydney weekend. The rooms are not spacious or spectacular but they are clean and comfortable and the staff have been very helpful. We would be happy to stay here again on a future trip to this part of the world.

Welcoming staff who were really helpful. Large clean, quiet room in a perfect location for anyone visiting UTS. They are reopening the restaurant for on site breakfast this week but I found a wonderful cafe across the park. Very good rate. Will certainly stay again.

Excellent location. Quiet back street near a park. Room was clean and neat, beds comfortable, bathroom modern and tidy. Staff were lovely and friendly.
Any downfalls were small. Disappointed that no mention of restaurants being closed at time of booking (although understood during these covid times), balcony of no use, look into walls. Mini-fridge really didn't keep anything cold and remote for TV clearly needs replacing.
Despite this i definitely would recommend it.

Ryde Metro hotel NSW. On a main road and very noisy they should invest in sound proof glass. Victoria Rd noise starts at 5.30AM.

Sydney,Bulwara road Manager entered our room without warning. When I asked him why he entered our room, while we were outside. And we put "Dont disturb " tag on the door. He replied that he could do whatever he wanted, because he is Manager there. He called us only after he searched and left our room. Saying that someone complained about food smell from my room. I talked to all guests who stayed beside me, and all of them said, that they had no problems with it.Some of them said, that they could smell food only in the elevator, which other guests brought from outside. Why he didn't call us before

Spent the night here with my Partner for our anniversary, stayed in the Spa Suite. Firstly, the staff were very welcoming when we arrived, the first impression of the Hotel from the outside, it's a bit out dating and could do with a lick of paint. The parking isn't that welcoming, was kind of worried to leave my vehicle outside as it wasn't secured very well, and the underground parking was quite scary really, it looked like it was going to fall down and there were no gates for parking. Inside is quite nice and welcoming environment. Got up to our suite where it was presented nicely
