The new carpet and space in the living & dinning room was great.
There were some not so great things
- it is a noisy place to stay. You can hear other guests around the hotel as I think the pool is open quite late. You can hear people use water etc above you. You can hear the garbage truck. You can hear people on the street.
- the rooms themselves are non smoking, however you can smoke on the balcony so if you have your door open for fresh air it’s not so fresh.
If you stay here and paying via savings or cheque make sure you saying you are paying via savings or cheque account as the staff

The good thing is small pool so children can swim sometimes. However, I have the worst experience ever here. I do not recommend anyone to book this apartment, because we could not sleep nor receive a refund to book somewhere else:
1. From bedroom, we can hear noise when someone upstairs flush the toilet. Last night, we heard people upstairs moving furniture, running and children crying.
2. Currently, there is a construction site opposite to our room, they make loud noise from 7am.
3. today (20/12/2021), clear loud noise from rubbish truck at 6am.
4. The blind in living room and bedroom cannot

We had a 3 bedroom family apartment for 2 nights. Plenty of room, as 2 of the bedrooms are upstairs and one bathroom. The location is great - despite the rain, we walked to dinner one night at the Hotel Kingston and one night at a great thai restaurant at Kingston shops. The only thing was the upstairs floor was so, so noisy - it creaked every time you put a foot on it - so late night bathroom trips etc woke everyone up. Nice few supplies of tea and instant coffee.

This place is excellent, clean, well priced and centrally located except the WiFi is woeful and the mobile network is in a shadow of a hill. We gave up watching movies on Netflix due to the regular halt to our program viewing.
On the positive side the location is fantastic and very easy to walk to restaurants, bars and shops, as well as an easy drive to the National places of importance. Parking is on site and safe. There's a great outdoor area and a pool. The air-conditioned rooms were great to combat the cold outside.

The location is great as it is off centre of Canberra and there isn't much noise around. The place is comfortable and rooms ok sized. Beds were a little bit hard but not inconsistent with other apartments we had stayed at. The service was excellent, from the person in reception to the follow up SMS to ensure our stay was good.
