Eaglehawk Holiday Park recognises the difficulty schools and operators face in finding safe, purpose-built accommodation for school groups planning to visit Canberra's many attractions. The Park has constructed a number of dorm style facilities to cater for the demand. Facilities range from basic 4-bed dorms with shared bathrooms through to dorms with their own en-suites.
Eaglehawk Holiday Park offers competitive rates on all of its group accommodation options. Often in town for planned fund raising activities, charity and fund-raising groups' main focus is affordability first, services later. Our dorm facilities have proven to be a very popular choice because it is a simple matter of having a bed to sleep in and otherwise being away working all hours raising money for various charities.

Could be better. Ammenities not clean. Stank. Sewage overflowing. Response to management comments - It is encouraging Eaglehawk Park responded positively to my comments and confirmed they are working on park improvements. I suggest the caravan site we were given should be placed out of bounds until significant improvements are made (needs to be level, free of sewage overflow and ideally sites need to be larger). With a little work, this could be a nice caravan park.

Horrible park only stayed a week because of how dirty their amenities are, were only cleaned properly once in the whole week we were there so we had to change to the caravan park down the road for it to be much cleaner for our kids. Also being so close to the highway, this caravan park is not fenced with the kids park and pool visible from the road and pub so no privacy.

1 star out of 5 simply because you cant give a ZERO. This place was attrocious. I travel a lot for work and this place was up there with the worst. I hsould have expected it when I seen the great pile of rubbish out back but visible fromthe road. We stayed in a Cabin for one night, the outside appeared well kept and painted in the last few years. But when you walked through the front door it was terrible, there was an unclean smell and none of the furniture matched. There were odd door handles on the linen press (of which one kept coming off when opening the door) the Iron was dirty, the ironing

Absolutely terrible. There are way better hotels in the area. We stayed in a cabin for school camp and for the price we paid, it wasn't worth it. The beds were uncomfortable and didn't have an adequate amount of sheets to suit Canberra's winter conditions, our heaters didn't work (and we stayed in July), tiny bathrooms and the food was cold, undercooked and disgusting. The only good thing in the room was the TV.

Loved this place! I was surprised... so much better than google reviews give it credit for, such a nice place to stay and we could take our dog too. Very spacious and clean cabin; quiet park and residents who seemed to be very house proud; bush setting; kangaroos and cute rabbits for the kids to watch; nice evening walks around the park; decent pub and restaurant right next door; playground; Canberra only 10 minutes away; friendly easy going staff. All it needs is the pool up and going for summer!
We'll be back for sure.
