Beyond the worst place to stay!!!!!! We understand covid issues make things hard but this place is complete un-equipped to handle the situation, lifts that just do not have the capacity to take as many people they are booking in with lift person/s restriction limits so you stand there waiting for 30minute just to get down to check out! no extra signage to allow for you to take stairs and cars parked at multiple different places so if you have a booking somewhere be prepared to go down and get your car only to have it take 40mins to even get to you! Ohhh and boogers all over the bedding and towels

My partner booked two nights for myself and two children. The room we were given was with a queen bed and sofa bed, no issue. However, we only had enough towels and bedding for the queen bed. We called when we got there to get new towels, to which reception said they would organise it. They never came, so we had to steal towels from the pool area. We called about bedding for the kids, and it took 45 minutes to arrive. We got two bed sheets. I asked if they had a doona or quilt for the kids. The guy said he would ask, and then never came back. Great central location to everything. Rooms may be slightly dated but are well maintained and clean. Staff were all extremely friendly and there is a great restaurant and bar on level 1 which serves some great food! Indoor pool and spa as well on level 2 which the kids really enjoyed. There is a small gym there as well. Parking is an additional $27 for the 1 night we stayed. Overall very satisfied and would be back

They can’t even answer the phone correctly. The woman on the phone said Hi, but did not offer her name. When asked she refused and demanded to know why I wanted to know her name. I explained that I like to know who I’m talking to and it is proper phone etiquette. They lost my business when they failed basic phone manners 🤷🏻♀️

The Hotel is very dated and over priced, the reception staff would say "Yes, I will make sure this is done", but fails everytime. We suffered being in a room for 4 nights with a airconditioner that did not work after complaining to the night Manager 2 nights before and nothing done until we took this matter to reception the next day and they moved us to another room for the remaining 2 nights, which they thought they did us a huge favour, be aware they charge extra for car parking which is not stated on their Website, only that they offer car parking on site, wouldn't stay there again, the only

Room was clean, staff friendly. Very much a poor relation of other novotels we have stayed at though. Breakfast buffet was very limited. Had to order eggs fried, no pancakes, waffles or other things you would normally get as part of a Novotel spread. No juice out - you have to order with vouchers, then pay if you want another. Covid blamed for high touch points. However they had jugs of flavoured milk and water which seem to contradict this. Parking is extortionate at $27 per day and they want you to leave your keys. Novotel brochure said $20. Still waiting for Adnan the manager to get back to

Hey Accor, how about some brand consistency for Novotel?
Took the family to Wollongong pre-Xmas and had a very pleasant stay. Check-in was seamless, property was well-presented, rooms were clean, all staff were courteous and professional.
Then there was… Novotel Canberra.
Arrived with my two young boys Tuesday 28 Dec early evening. Had booked an ‘apartment’ room and had requested that the sofa bed be made up as well as additional rollaway bed be placed in the room. Booking was made via phone and these requirements were confirmed and reconfirmed at time of booking.
At check-in, I confirmed
