Please note, we have Low Gluten Options and endeavour to prepare GF meal options but we are not a Certified Gluten Free Kitchen. Vegan options available in pizza and pasta. The Manhattan specialises in traditional and modern Italian cuisine, is fully licensed and is open Thursday to Monday 11am till 11pm.
Manhattan in Mornington and Peninsula Hotsprings have collaborated to offer a special package for spring and summer. The package includes 2 course lunch or dinner, a glass of wine & a coffee or tea at Manhattan and a public bathing pass for Peninsula Hotsprings for $120 per person. A Manhattan gift voucher makes an excellent present for any occasion.

A BIG thank you to Rose and her staff who worked so tirelessly to make my joint 50th celebration with my brother on the weekend, an unforgettable night to remember for me and my family at your restaurant.
My dream holiday was suppose to be to Italy for my 50th but obviously cause of all the lockdowns, your restaurant was the next best thing to Italy. It was like little Italy!! :)
Your restaurant has an incredible positive vibe.
The staff were friendly and the restaurant is so beautifully presented.
I tried a bit each of the starters and all were delicious. For the main meal I ordered the Manhattan

Decided to dine at Manhattan with my partner after lockdown after hearing so much about the restaurant.
Unfortunately wasn't what we expected. Got taken to our table then forgotten about til I got up & asked for service after 15min. No water on arrival or acknowledgment. Not organised or run in a professional way. Food was ok, but service plays a big part in a successful business. Slightly disappointed ☹️

Very accommodating especially for large groups. We a large group of 15 we stuffed up our booking plus it was on a Friday night!) however, the staff made room for us in the back court yard. We were very grateful, thank you so much! Plus they put the heaters on for us. We also started with wines and ordered either pasta or risotto & enough garlic bread to keep us full. Thank you once again- highly recommend!!!

By far the best pasta and risotto In Mornington with a great selection, lots of options for vegetarians as well, the desserts were to die for and all of this was served with amazing friendly and attentive… service in a beautiful building with great interior scenery, wow those ceilings and chandeliers! My partner took me here for our anniversary and I felt very romanced 🥰

Food was really overpriced, tiny scallops overcooked, pork belly undercooked, pasta sauce could have been from a jar, arancini balls had a strange taste. Tried to use a voucher but the owner wouldn't accept it… due to her infallible system of crossing things out in a book and lied about it being already used. Screwed us out of money that had already been spent because they are snakey of losing money due to Covid. Go to Beaches or God's Kitchen next door which are so much better in terms of price and food quality. Waitress was really nice and felt sorry for her.

For the price you paid the service was horrible. Got a family there for my mother in law birth day lunch ,booked it for a table they left us outside the courtyard with 30° no fan.With a woman over 80s and 2… kids there is no friendly at all.Never be back again.Walk in a modern style restaurant but the service is not even 1star. Manhattan your service is below average.

Hadn't been here in a while as the service has always been shocking. Thought we would give them another go hopefully being shut for a while they may have sorted themselves out. We had a booking 7pm to 9pm… upon arrival we were told that I wasn't on the list when I showed them the confirmation it miraculously appeared. We were seated at a table set for 2 there was 4 of us, the waitress came over and asked if we wanted to order drinks we asked what gins do you have and was told mmm I think we only have gordons, we stated that can't be possible she went away and came back with a list, We ordered

The establishment was well kept and had a nice classic italian vibe while also being very modern.
Wait staff were very attentive and friendly without being annoying.
The food was absolutely superb.
Prices were on the higher side but we'll worth it for the quality that you receive.
I will be telling everyone I know about this place and will be back!!!
Do yourself a favour and give this lovely restaurant a try for yourself!!
P.s. I have added a photo of the duck breast I had which is perfection.

Great food and atmosphere.Staff very attentive and kind despite being very busy.Food did not disappoint.Will be back.The pizza capriocciosa and calmari fritti were fab starter.
We had Barramundi with farro from their daily specials.It was amazing.Eye fillet was very tender and cook to perfection by their Italian chef.The tiramisu was fantastic.Highly recommend as well as the donuts.Thank you.
