Devendra started his hospitality career in 1976 in India where he completed his diploma in Cookery and Restaurant Management. He was then selected by the renowned five star hotel, Clarks Avadh, as a trainee chef. Under the supervision of some of the best chefs in the country he was able to further develop his culinary skills before moving to Australia in 1981.
Spice lovers travel to eat at this smart Indian restaurant with its starched napery, professional service and excellent food. They come for cardamom-scented somosas; juicy chicken tikka; fall-of-the-fork Punjabi lamb in spinach gravy; and the bright, clear flavours of Madras chicken in tomato and coconut sauce.

Amazing food! This restaurant is one of my favourite Indian restaurants that serve genuine Indian dishes. My personal favourite to recommend is the Malai Kofta, the creamy kofta is delicious and is garnished with Indian spices. The staff is nice as well, they recommended their most popular dishes and were very kind in helping us decide. Definitely coming back here with my family!

Not a good experience at all. We were the only ones there, food was disgusting. I didn’t eat anything apart from the bread which was old and overcooked. We used to love it there until the new owners took over. We will never go back there. We didn’t feel like they even wanted us to be there as our waitress was too busy being in the kitchen eating and talking.
