Services
Dr. Elise Lowick completed her Bachelors of Arts degree (with Honours) in Psychology at the American University in Washington DC in 1994. She undertook her postgraduate studies in Australia, completing a Masters of Clinical Psychology in 1998 and a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology at the University of Sydney in 2004.
A On your first appointment, you will complete surveys and meet with an experienced clinician who will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your current concerns. By the end of your first session, you will have a clear treatment plan with number of sessions (5 to 10) required to tackle the presenting issue.
Your appointment is set aside specifically for you. If your appointment is forgotten, not attended or cancelled at the last moment, it is impossible for someone to use your time and a cancellation fee applies. The cancellation policy for appointments that are cancelled without 48 business hours notice and the full fee is payable.
The Medicare rebate is an Australian Government initiative started in 2007 to ensure people have better access to health care. The Medicare rebate is available for 5 to 10 sessions and may cover all or part of your consultation, depending on your status in the medicare safety net scheme. Typically, 10 sessions covered by Medicare are available per calendar year, however you must have a review of progress by your GP after 5 sessions.
