I'm coming to this company from age 17 I am now 50 . 2 week prior todate I'll had my ignition barrel repaired in my BA Falcon $450 cash job is not repaired correctly.that day I said I was putting my car in to get the bushes done on my diff at q Ford for $1100 but was told $1000 if I bring it to rongooleys so mentioned my quote a brake and clutch to have my calipers resleeved which I already put new rotors and brake shoes on brake and clutch said $550 ..Ron said $450 will do that then I added $270 Ford transmission service and regas $127 for AC . Which price come to $1847.00 due date booked 11/08

I came to Ron Gooley's in hope of fixing a problem i had been having for months that my usual mechanic had failed to correct. Whilst there they found a whole bunch of problems that my mechanic had failed to fix or probably even pick up. Two weeks prior i had taken my car into my usual place to get the timing belt done and found out whilst it was at Ron's that the timing belt hadn't even been done properly!
They went above and beyond to fix all the problems i had in the short amount of time given prior to a long road trip to Townsville. My car runs so much better and i made it to my destination

$211 to replace a power steering belt... Asked for a belt to be changed in order to move my car to another location. Told them that I couldn’t afford to do any other work on the car. Completed the work plus changed another belt as well as removed my aircon unit without asking me, ended up charging me $136 in Labor ontop of the parts for what I was quoted to be a 20 min job. If the work needed to be done the professional thing to do would have been to call the client and ask if they wanted the extra work done. Was quoted $40 for the part and told it was a 20 min job. The least they could have

No complaints at all with the repairs done to my car today, Drives perfect again which is awesome
Everyone there is really polite whenever I go to get work done.
I had my car diagnosed last friday for free and had it fixed the following Tuesday with updates as it was happening.
So I recommend them if u need your car serviced,fixed or looked at.
