I was searching for a local mechanic to look after my car in an ongoing way, as I shifted areas. I like to support local businesses and found Matt at Torque Automotive just through the Google reviews, which were good. I have found Matt and staff to be very professional and customer oriented. The work seems to be very good, the prices reasonable and they have been able to proactively identify future work that needs doing to the car while doing regular services

$595 to fit a sway bar kit springs and rear motor mount was a little steep guys. I think I was double dipped on the hours I was charged considering I had already paid for two tyres to go on at the same time. The real pain is the spring I supplied were wrong and they did not do a wheel alignment so my car is basically undrivable.

WARNING! Simple job to have 4 new tyres fitted and ended up with damaged wheels. They used a powered wire brush on all the wheels to removed adhesive for balance weights and cut through the painted surface to cause obvious damage to the wheels. Who does this? The owner was unconcerned, said he could "touch it up" Not letting him near my car again. This is the kind of sloppy service you can expect. BEWARE!

Matt was great to deal with. Drop off was a breeze, servicing was quick even though they were really busy. Matt and his team vacuumed the car and even left a really nice note in the car. It’s simple little touches like this that makes me have faith in the industry that not everyone is out to rip you off!
