Kaye was lovely, the fresh bread was amazing, having basic food amenities already stocked made breakfast much more enjoyable as we didn’t have to go out. Everything was very clean, lots of other amenities provided, the grounds are beautiful.

First time I've ever booked at a place and been greeted with freshly baked bread on the counter and basic food supplies in the fridge. The Lakeside Cottage is a fantastic place for couples to spend a night away and represents great value given the amenities provided. Wish we stayed longer than the one night and this has definitely become our first pick for the next time we stay in the area!

The garden is beautiful and the host are friendly and kind. But the house was have a lot of insects every where in all the rooms, the orange juice was open, hot chocolate sachet was date expired, one of the towels was dirty. I don't recommended.

Kaye was amazing with helping to plan my partners surprise birthday get away. The heater was on when we got there, fresh food in the fridge and plenty of toiletries in the bathroom if we needed it. The fact the spa was readily available as well was perfect and topped off our night. Kaye set up the room amazingly and had petals over the bed and spread in the bathroom as well, she also had a bottle of champagne for us in the room as part of the additional cost. I will return to Lakeside Cottage again any time the big city starts to become too much. I'll recommend this B&B to all my friends because

Absolutely amazing place to stay! Lovely grounds, the cottage itself is stunning and the host Kaye is very welcoming and genuine! I booked for the night to propose to my partner and thanks to the effort of Kaye the night was a success! Definitely recommend staying here and will be back again!

It was wonderful ! The Lakeside cottage is very luxurious, quiet with a very big and beautiful garden.
To eat on the lake in the gazibo was so romantic.
The homemade bread made by Kaye for the breakfast is absolutely delicious.
From this place I recommend to go to Sky High Mount Dandenong, it's a fabulous view of Melbourne.
It was also a pleasure for us to see a lot of animals like Ibis, hare and ducks.

The most stunning gardens I have every seen with its own lake and bridge brilliantly lit up at night. Its a perfect setting for wedding photos or for anyone wanting a romantic weekend away. It really is as good as the photos show.
