Hello and thanks for stopping by! I'm John, a Bowral and Southern Highlands Wedding Photographer who specialises in documenting weddings in a candid, unobtrusive and natural manner. You'll also find me photographing weddings in Sydney, Berry, Kangaroo Valley and the South Coast. I've shot hundreds of weddings with my 15 years plus experience and have also won many awards both nationally and internationally for my natural and candid photography.
I aim to capture emotions, feelings and connections. I want personalities to be distinct from wedding to wedding and the best way to do that is to document people acting naturally. When I'm not documenting once in a lifetime stories, I love to adventure with my beautiful family down to the South Coast of New South Wales, listen to my vinyl collection and drink strong coffee.

As a Documentary Wedding Photographer, I aim to document your wedding day as it unfolds in a natural and unobtrusive manner. I live to capture the moment, close up and candidly so that the heart and soul are present in every photograph. I want my work to feel like a human eye observing your day as it happens.

John helped us to document our small, intimate wedding in November 2021 and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the very beginning he was organised, a great communicator and he was supportive, flexible and accomodating (he stuck by us through 3 wedding attempts due to covid). On the day I hardly noticed he was there. Yet somehow he captured every moment including all the little details. He made us feel comfortable (despite us both being rather camera shy). And the photos themselves are everything I had dreamed of and more. We requested mostly candid pics and John delivered 100%. I feel so

His communication was top notch throughout, and his photos are all out of this world. Even choosing our 100 favourites for an album has been hard, there are that many great shots.

We booked John to capture our wedding and we couldn't have been happier or more blown away by the pictures. John captured the essence of the day perfectly and was super-lovely and wonderful to work with. We used John for our recent wedding, and we couldn't have been happier to have gone with him.
He was a breeze to deal with - calm, in control, precise - and most importantly had a beautiful eye for capturing moments.
He was with us all day - and then had sent us a few shots for us to enjoy when we woke up in the morning. Couldn't recommend him more!
