My wife Camelia is our chief editor, accounts and marketing manager. We also have a second videographer who films with us on most weddings. Ben has been filming for well over 10 years and has his own photography business called Ben Spinelli Photography. Having Ben as part of the Mitch Hickman Films team has been an asset as he has added great value and creative style to our business.

Hey Guys, if you don't know who I am already as you can guess by the name I am Mitch. I have been filming weddings for over 10 years across the country and globe. Specialising in Southern Highlands weddings but also film throughout the Illawarra region, interstate and Internationally. Back in the day I started filming with an Illawarra cinematography company.
We always strive to deliver high quality films by ensuring that everything I capture is genuine, candid and in the moment. When I film I love seeing my couples feel free to be themselves and express their love, without feeling like they are being filmed. By our relaxed and fun nature we are able to get all of those special moments you aim to have included within your films.

We are located on the stunning South Coast of Australia. We live in Wollongong where we have been lucky enough to build our dream home for our family. You receive an awesome package including a wooden USB with all your individually edited 1080p video of the wedding day all in a stylish pouch so you never loose that USB.
A wedding day to us is one of the most special occasions in a couples life. This blog about our wedding films is a way we get to share all of our work for you to enjoy. One of the best parts about filming weddings is hearing all the stories of how the couples got together. It's always an honour to be asked to film an elopement especially when they are with amazing couples and at a stunning.

Mitch was an absolute joy to have around on our special day! He was fun, friendly and professional to work with. Mitch made our bridal party feel comfortable in front of the camera and was able to initiate genuine moments of laughter and joy to capture on camera. We're so grateful for having Mitch Hickman as part of our dream team for our wedding day! A wonderfully professional person, though one who is great fun and produces quality work in such a quick time frame! We must have had our highlight video back to us no more than 10 days after our wedding which is exactly what you need to be able to re-live the moments and keep riding the high of such a special and momentous day.
We set him a bit of a task, having to film in our renovation site home and make the family property work and he did it so well! We are so grateful for the beautiful memories he has

Mitch and Camelia are the absolute dream team!
We knew we were in good hands for our wedding video, but OH MY GOD they really went above and beyond for us!
In the lead up Camelia was so responsive, so organised and so understanding to all of our needs!
On the day Mitch was more like a guest than a vendor, he is the funniest most down to earth person and we just had the best day with him.
We are blown away by our video, we watch it and can't believe it's us! It's pure magic!
So many little details and emotions are captured and it makes you wonder how Mitch could be everywhere, he's like a ninja

After working for many years with Mitch Hickman films on weddings, I was thrilled to book them to shoot a online course for me! They truly went above and beyond on the project. Camelia helped me plan the project to perfection and Mitch made me feel so confident on camera. The end result was a super professional, well edited course that I’m over the moon with. If we could give Mitch and his wife Camelia more than 5 stars we would as there is nothing to fault! They are the perfect combination of professional, talented, sincere, down-to-earth, funny and comforting. Having Mitch at our intimate elopement honestly felt so natural and made it full of fun and laughter. Mitch worked soo well with our photographer and celebrant, even meeting up before hand to discuss details - the whole day was amazing and collaborative. Camelia's editing perfectly captured the intimacy and mood of the day, and their communication was timely and reliable - We will trust them

Mitch was fabulous to work with. He was always so responsive to emails and happy to reach out during anything we needed through covid. We adore our highlight film and it’s definitely worth the investment as once our wedding was over it is something we look back on and treasure anytime we want. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

From the moment Mitch arrived at my wedding preparation venue, I felt entirely at ease. Professional yet super fun and friendly, Mitch managed to capture so many special moments throughout the day while keeping us all laughing. We received our highlight film just over one week after the wedding (so quick), and we absolutely loved it immediately. The short film was so perfectly balanced to demonstrate the best and most beautiful parts of our special day that had flown by at the time. Mitch is both the nicest guy you’ll ever meet and a brilliant and professional film maker. He brought so much laughter to our wedding day, captured our love in the most relaxed and natural way possible and took so much care while doing it.
